Join me as I mine huge Garnets at a classic mineral collecting location, the River Valley occurrence in Northern Ontario. This site contains Garnets of every shape and size, small with very crisp edges, huge red Almandine Garnets and some medium sized super dark deep purple Garnets. Join me as I dig in the Mica Schist in the search for the perfect mineral specimens.
