I like the honesty man I subscribed dude keep it up keep in mind that I still be waiting for your video turning into a manual haha yes it's expensive i changed my friends auto it's hard doing that and then going to school funds it's hard bro you got it
Thanks for the support man! And yeah, I'm hoping to change it to manual at the same time as doing an engine swap, to make it more worth it and save some time. That probably won't happen until I finish school though, don't want any loans leaving college!
Bro honestly fuck the haters. So what if your car isn't stick, it's still mint AF. half of the stick cars don't even look as good as one that's auto. Huge fan of the stance and the sound. I wanna get my EJ up like that. So far only done clear headlights, LED head light bulbs, LED reverse lights, LED turn signal bulbs. Looking to get wheels and suspension soon! Keep working on it man. I understand the struggle is REAL haha
I have a 2000 lx that i plan on playing with... looks clean man dont mind the hate about the automatic because mine is an automatic with great gas mileage until i do a k24 swap then i will go manual so good job on your mods they look good
Hey bro I am just after getting a civic the same as yours and want to progressively mod it I am based in Ireland could you drop the link to where you got the rear diffuser, love the build
That is great to hear! I'm glad you're going to mod an EK Civic! Unfortunately, the company that created my diffuser, Top1 Motors, is no longer in business. So, the only way to get their parts is if certain shops or online retailers happen to have some. Last time I checked, I couldn't find any online. But, you never know! If you find one, let me know.
Nice car! I'm trying to fix my civic up right now as well. going slow but its okay haha it'll be worth the time. Enjoyed this walk through a lot. Keep it up
I imagine you are referencing the paint job I just had done this month? I had a friend of mine, Derreck Wright, do the job on the side. If you go to our Instagram page and look at the tags on any recent photos of the Civic, you will find his personal Instagram page. I am not completely comfortable revealing the cost of the paint job. However, I can tell you that it was under $3,000 including the cost of supplies. If you wish to have Derreck paint your car, contact him on Instagram. Thanks.
These were Rota Slipstreams, not genuine Spoons. I could not afford forged wheels at the time. I recently purchased Volk Racing TE37SLs for my FL5 Type R, though!
Thank you! Unfortunately, I am pretty certain that Top1 Motors went out of business and are no longer selling their products. So, you'll either have to find a used one or a new one from a third-party website.
This would take some thought to figure out, precisely. Maybe I'll make a video about this at some point! Of course, one thing that needs to be considered is that I have done mods or added parts which are no longer on the car or have been replaced. Another thing, the car is, currently, a lot different, and, to give you an idea of what it cost, here are a few of the major parts: 1) full paint job (approx. $3,000); 2) Megan Racing EZ Street coilovers ($500 on sale); 3) Rota Grids w/tires ($1,100); 4) Top1 Motors Aero ($350); 5) full exhaust ($800). Another thing to keep in mind is that I have had the car for almost 10 years now, so I didn't spend this money overnight.
First of all thanks for replying! And it looks amazing man , i have a 96 civic sedan and that is just subtle and perfect fit for the car especially the way you accented the car ! I was wondering if i can know where you would get one like that ?
No problem! And you can get one like this from toponemotors.com, they make them to order, so you may have to wait 2 or 3 weeks to get it, but it's worth it!
It really depends on what you want. Sometimes, certain companies will explicitly state that they offer sponsorships, like Mishimoto, and then you just fill out an application. However, a lot of companies are willing to sponsor you if you can make it worth their while. If you have plenty of followers on Instagram, UA-cam, Facebook, or whatever else, and go to plenty of car meets, shows, and cruises, then they know you can get them the exposure they want. Top1 Motors does not even do sponsorships regularly, but I asked and offered them a lot of exposure, and it worked! Other times you need to know people or just have a bit of luck!
They are holding up very nicely. Everyone was telling me to go with FnF or some eBay brand, but I decided to go with an actual nice set to ensure that I have no problems later. I love Megan Racing!
How about this: A car can be made faster REGARDLESS of what transmission it has. Further, a car can be made to handle better IRRESPECTIVE of what transmission it has!
That's stress then I suppose, although I don't mind public speaking, when I'm essentially speaking to "no one," like during a video, it makes me incredibly nervous, so that is probably why.
LeonVanzan Vang It's a very simple explanation. Have you ever heard of an engine swap? I assume you have. Oftentimes, when you do one, you need to swap the transmission as well. Thus, even if it was a manual, it would be swapped out for a completely different transmission. From there, all I would need to do is get a different gauge cluster (which I would need to do anyway) and get a new pedal assembly. You're talking a difference of $100... So there's an explanation to your "WTF." How about next time you're genuinely confused, you ask the question in a reaonable manner, or just give it some thought, and you may arrive at a reasonable conclusion. Further, you make it sound as though automatics are completely unviable, which is ridiculous. There are many advantages to owning one. This is especially true since this is not a race car. I don't need to shave off a couple more tenths of a second off my quarter mile time, I only want a manual because I prefer to drive them, nothing more.
Project Street Royals oh I get what you mean I use to modify car. I had my years of those old times. But yeah, all those money and for an auto. It’s s Honda, if you’re going to spent money on a Honda sport car, make sure it’s manual. Otherwise it’s your typical granny civic. Why? Cause if your grandma and mom can drive, it ain’t sporty enough to be mod. Hope you understand.
LeonVanzan Vang Again, you miss the entire point. Cars do not need to be sporty to be worthy of modifying... people modify different cars for different reasons.
simplicity is elegance. especially on a 90's model
You couldn't be more right! I don't plan on ever going too crazy.

nice video we are looking for videos like this of old reliable cars
Thank you!
The builds with the most character are those with a manual conversion.
You should get some del sol seats.
Maybe a s2000 or ep3 steering wheel.
I definitely intend on swapping to a manual transmission. However, I am going to wait until I do an engine swap.
I have exact same civic. Looks dope
Thanks man! Wait until you see how it looks now. I just reassembled it after paint and will be making a video of it soon.

Thank you! My Civic is actually getting resprayed right now. I should be picking it up in a few days!
Nice car! I'm trying to fix my civic up right now as well. going slow but its okay haha it'll be worth the time. Enjoyed this walk through a lot. Keep it up

What are those wing mirrors? Are they stock USDM?
Yes, these are OEM USDM ones, but this was my old setup. Now, I have Canadian Acura EL, manual folding mirrors.
@@ProjectStreetRoyals Cool, we didnt get those in europe, we had really big and ugly motherfuckers hahah
How much is the paint job and where did you get it done.

Good looking sedan. My neighbor has a clean sedan that same color.
DrFuNK Thank you! If you check out my Instagram, you can see a more current version too. It's @psr_ej6.

These were Rota Slipstreams, not genuine Spoons. I could not afford forged wheels at the time. I recently purchased Volk Racing TE37SLs for my FL5 Type R, though!
Bro where u get the tail lights? I been looking for a minute
I got them from eBay for about 100 USD. Sometimes they are harder to find than other times, but they have always come back after being unavailable.
Nice civic ADA COUNTY GANG🤘🏽
Thanks bro! Wait until you see it after its respray is done after New Year's! What do you drive?
Project Street Royals same car brother might start my UA-cam channel on it soon very soon haha
@@blamsgarage920 If you do, you should let us know!
Nice sedan civic. What’s the link on the diffuser?
Thank you! Unfortunately, I am pretty certain that Top1 Motors went out of business and are no longer selling their products. So, you'll either have to find a used one or a new one from a third-party website.
clean car bro
Thank you!
How much you spend overall

What size of tire where you running?
They were 185/60R15s.
And no rubbing?
@@joseluyando9865 The rear tires were rubbing a little bit with the spacers, but that stopped once I rolled the fenders a tiny bit.
Ok perfect thanks
It’s clean af but the so car enthusiasts will hate
Thank you!
Thank you for the support!
Where did you get the rear bumper diffuser
From my sponsor, Top1 Motors! Unfortunately, mine broke a little while back, but I plan on getting a new one.
First of all thanks for replying! And it looks amazing man , i have a 96 civic sedan and that is just subtle and perfect fit for the car especially the way you accented the car ! I was wondering if i can know where you would get one like that ?

how's the coilovers been holding up?
They are holding up very nicely. Everyone was telling me to go with FnF or some eBay brand, but I decided to go with an actual nice set to ensure that I have no problems later. I love Megan Racing!
I was thinking of getting this how low do they go?
My god, from here, they can go down another 2 or 2.5 inches. Honestly, I would need to cut body parts to get them to max out.
+Project Street Royals thanks for the feedback, you reply with honesty and quick!
That's what I do! I'm honest even with sponsored companies. No one pays me to say good things!
Nice car bro....
Same as mine...😊 G.B
Thank you! You should see my most recent walkaround video, so you can see how much better it looks, now! Is yours built? Or the same color?

Why do you breathe so loud lol .nice cars tho

its automatic...
