The Play [Book Lore]: Can't remember if anyone's said but the play is the based on the short story 'A Question of Price'. Queen Calanthe of Cintra hired Geralt to stop the 'wrong' person from becoming betrothed to princess Pavetta. A cursed knight (rather than a doppler) turned up but instead of killing him Geralt lifted the curse - and it turned out Pavetta was not only already in love with him (the knight) but also pregnant. The unexpected baby was Ciri and, as Geralt had invoked the 'law of surprise' (give me what you find at home but did not expect) she became bound to him by destiny ... and 'Something More'.
Hey Sienna! 💜 You merely glanced at the script in the last episode, yet only made about two mistakes in total. That's rather impressive! (I was nervous because Geralt had the chance to review his lines before the play but you chose to jump right in! lol) 1:02:36 - I don't know if this is a glitch, or if the chort was simply reacting to both the poison and the fire at the same time. You can really see the effectiveness of the Devil's Puffball in this fight! Thanks for always being the bright spot in my day Sienna. Looking forward to the next one. 💜
The end of act 1 is the end of main quest Skellige, imo. Don't worry, act 2 and 3 aren't as big as the first act. 😉 You can clear out all the side quests, but keep in mind that there are relatively high and low level quests everywhere in the base game. The more you level up in Velen/Novigrad, the easier the quests in Skellige become, and the game isn't really that difficult to begin with. Btw, you can always come back to Velen and do more quests there later anyway, so there is no need to rush anything.
17:03 The scene where Dudu changes into Ciri is a masterpiece of writing, acting, and animation. Only Dandelion and Dudu have seen Ciri in the last 6 or 7 years. There's so much emotion in this scene with so few words, it's incredible. Zoltan's deep friendship with Geralt as well as Geralt's love, longing, and fears for Ciri. The scene also reminds us, after all our wandering around, exactly what Geralt is searching for - the daughter he loves. This is personal! 1:05:25 How far through: Finishing Skellige marks the end of Act 1. Acts 2 & 3 together are about the same length and the two DLC about the same again, so when you leave Skellige you are about halfway through the main game, 1/3rd of the way through the saga (although I know one player who is trying so hard to postpone the ending that they've spent half their time on the second DLC alone!)
Starting with an extra card is what that Scoia'tael leader card provides. (But since it's a passive ability, the player who uses it still has the same number base moves* (11 of them) as one with an active leader ability. * This of course changes when there are spies and Decoys in the game.) Scoia'tael deck has no spy cards (other than possibly a Neutral one) but it has plenty of medics to resurrect *your* spies.
You actually read Geralt's lines in an earlier episode - you got 3/5 "correct" ... (I think I did the same lines as well, hilarious!) I've seen people reload the game if they get a line wrong ... that's what I call stage fright Btw - if you chose "comedy" instead of "drama" ... then there's no fight takes place after the performance It starts off the same, words to the effect of: "This is an affront to the church! Get them!" But then: "Calm down - it's just a comedy"
The painting you can give to Dandelion or save to hang in the house you get in Blood and Wine. If it still works I think you can put it in your stash before talking to Dandelion then when you give it to him it also stays in your stash so you can keep it for later.
She’s back! Let’s goo!
Another! Great part of the witcher 3!! Woop woop
If Geralt ever retires as a witcher, he always has acting to pursue now! He's a natural aha

That story was sick, I read the books after playing the game and I made the connection at the end when Geralt invoked the law of surprise

In general it is hard for scoiatel to spy because everyone identifies them as elves and distrusts them cuz of that
