The company is in better hands with Mark in a supportive rather than leadership role. He remains as chairman of the board, however, as he should, since he is the largest shareholder and founder. Removing him as CEO, though, is a huge positive for the company.

This is an astounding scoop Zac! There was SO MUCH good info in this tour. Nicely done! You guys need to do another video to unpack all the golden nuggets Mark and team shared and what it might mean going forward. I heard a bunch of iterative improvements coming very soon across all the products AND the manufacturing processes.
This is all giving me much more confidence in Arcimoto's future. Thanks Zac and everyone, so interesting.

WOW, WOW, WOW, Zac was like a little kid visiting a candy shop for the first time. I love the enthusiasm. The public needs to know more about a successful American company, using American Labor to build American designed vehicles with American materials. No more made in China stuff! We need to stand on our own feet again and not rely on others to make our products for us. 🏁🏁🚴♀🚴♀

I am excited about future battery improvements. It would be nice to have additional mileage on a FUV. Maybe I could upgrade my FUV. The "Know You Know" channel has another part of this visit.

This vid did age well. As noted below, Mark was moved from CEO to Chairman and "Chief Vision Officer," whatever that is. 2 days later the company disclosed terrible financials and a cash balance down to $5 million after burning thru $32 million. FUV also further diluted shareholders (including Zac) by issuing another $9 million in shares, which increased the cash balance to $11 million. But since they are only manufacturing 6 units/day and all at a loss, its only a matter of time before more cash is required. The company needs a strategic investor or buyer who can pump in serious cash, rationalize product and production, and turnaround the operation to at least break even.
The 'specialty' vehicles that the (now removed) CEO and Zac are driving, signal a lack of focus to me. While they were using valuable hours to build these toys for boys, they should have invested this time an effort into restructuring production and securing demand.
This video doesn't instill confidence at all.

6 vehicles a shift at this stage is good. I was involved in truck & bus production in the UK and we made 5 a shift after 9 months.
The bad matching and childish b footage could be left out... Nice look around though :) I would have been nice to actually see what they were looking at during the tour... and not just the guys talking.

I love to see manufacturing and innovation but what ( imo) I see here is a product that will never gain a decent amount of market share in the personal transportation sector. Best of luck.

Interesting news. Mark was removed as CEO on Aug. 4th and the reasons might include the news as reported in the local paper that says ---- Three weeks before Oregon electric vehicle manufacturer Arcimoto removed company founder Mark Frohnmayer as CEO, Eugene police arrested Frohnmayer on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Officers cited Frohnmayer in downtown Eugene at 10:09 p.m. on July 15, according to Melinda McLaughlin, the a spokesperson for the Eugene Police Department. She said Frohnmayer was driving a three-wheeled motorcycle, similar to the vehicles made by Arcimoto, but she couldn’t say for sure if it was one of the company’s models.

Pure speculation! I don't know if you noticed but Mark has been looking frail in the latest videos, he lost a lot of weight and looks unhealthy. I would suspect that he is sick. I hope I'm wrong and wish him the best of health.

I wish we could like invest in mining raw materials that we can specifically reserve for Arcimoto. I'd gladly vote to take a little bit of a profit hit if arcimoto can lower their costs.

I really want a FUV. I just can't see paying 21-25k when I can buy a small car for less than that. I have a 1999 single cab Tacoma that I put Maybe 9000 miles a year on, so the FUV would be just a fun thing to drive around town. I really wish them success so that the price drops to where he wants it to be because I would totally pay the around 10-15k. But who knows I have watched almost every youtuber that has talked about the FUV so my interest in it is strong. I might have to shell out the cash. I like the Solo as well because I fell it is more secure as in parking it and walking away in CA and not worrying if someone is messing around with my dash or sitting in my seats. BUT... it's only 1 seat and I need 2. Thanks for the Video. I watched Arcimoto's and was waiting for your side to come out.
Even just rental vehicle sales could reach 100k per year on a global basis, if not more. Every tropical island and tons of places like Mexico, Brazil, Miami, San Diego, is going to be a profitable rental market for these. Zac recently went to a resort town in Spain that would be great for FUV. Then think about places like Monaco. Denmark. Germany. Greece. Italy. Israel. Even India. Arcimoto getting even 1% of the tuktuk business would mean more than 10k units per year. Deliverator alone could be an investment from Domino's, GrubHub, and even logistics companies for big cities. Having the best tech in a compact package separates FUV from generic competition.
Fantastic video, guys! It has been a while since I have heard an update on Arcimoto, and as an early shareholder I was starting to wonder if they were ever going to scale. Clearly they have been busy innovating and getting ready for prime time. They are gonna be huge. And I want all of their products- now!

this all looks wonderful, but, if they don't get something into production and generate some cash flow, none of it matters when they are bankrupt.

@@popeyegordon not sure how I am a year behind, there is little to no production, and they are about to go bankrupt. the stock is at a FOREVER low. I wish they were doing much better, but reality is real.

Short attention span investors are shooting themselvs in the foot by posting hundreds of baseless lies about Arcimito. Investing is a long term strategy. Instant gratification people expecting something for nothing are almost always disappointed. You have no clue what reality is, as proven by your false claims. You have to be isolated from reality to ignore the daily news for the last two years about our pandemic/war economy and the materials and parts shortages. It has now reached the turning point but when you start making money you won't come back to apologize. None of you ever do. You leave your poison and scram.
@@popeyegordon not sure where these 'lies' are? I said little to no deliveries. I would consider 150 in a quarter to prove me correct. I said forever low at .50-.60c and that is a forever low. Anyone that has bought FUV in the last 3 years is down between 60-98%. how long is long term for you? IRS considers 1 year to be long term capital gains. I really like FUV's product, I am just not as understanding as a investor about their path to profit. Yeah for you, if you are a happy investor and I hope you are loading up at these super bargain basement prices today. Q: anyone that has bought FUV in the last 2.5 years paid $3.5 or higher. When will they break even?

Both banruptcy and no shipped vehicles are extremely dishonest implications based on NO evidence whatsoever. It takes as long as it takes and no informed investor whines on the internet just because he did not get rich fast. Even worse. I abhor stocks and what they have done to the American Dream.
For me, investing in the company means buying the product which I enjoy very much. I know from first hand experience as a US factory worker that any profits you see come directly from the paychecks and benefits packages of the workers. You greedy self entitled people disgust me. You talk casually about an extremely destructive behavior, assuming that because a few people got rich this way you are just as entitled regardless of your impacts on our lives. Driving ICE vehicles is another destructive habit that is practiced daily as though it is still acceptable. It is not.

Not really. There will always be a need for workers to service the automation and many things machinery can not do.
Is FUV suffering from "short sellers"? I remember when it was at $15.00 a share. I'm still all in on them and plan to buy more soon.
How can you not be aware of a global pandemic/war economy affecting all manufacturers? Parts and materials shortages hamper all vehicle makers. No exceptions. In the last month the indicators are that the economy is beginning to turn around.

Mark is still the Chairman and Chief Visionary Officer (CVO). He doesn't need to be bogged down with the day to day minutiae of running a company.
@@robinrutschman Ok. Product looks great unfortunately it looks like FUV is getting the "FUD" treatment that TSLA got back in the day...stock is being shorted at 20+% of outstanding shares..how do they get out of this cycle without major investment beyond the $20m financing announced?

Bullcrap lie. There is no evidence of any kind that Mark ever did anything but get caught sitting at a park bench on time with a beer, the key still in his Roadster. He just forgot to remove the key. The charges will be dropped after a year of probation.
