You folks are sharing what I deem "America's Dogs". The amount you have shared with us all is just wonderful to see how attentive and disciplined they are. Again I say thank you for sharing your journey with us all.
Awesome to see the training process…. Patience and persistence…. Need to see a video on this trailer build, especially what appears to be a rear suspension….
That was so awesome. Free really enjoyed the ride and Whiskey will too, eventually. They are so precious and you guys are so patient and loving with them. ❤❤❤❤🐾🐾🐾
Our last dog took to hitching a ride on the footboard of my mobility scooter. She didn't need any training, one minute trotting alongside at 8mph and in a flash she was sat between my feet with no room too spare. She was a strange X breed of Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Greyhound and German Shepherd. If she had opposable thumbs she would have taken it for a ride alone.
I believe that Whiskey is a bit unnerved riding in a box in the open air. He does well in the car, because he has a protective cover around him. Your husband's gentle praise and encouragement helps Whiskey to relax. A suggestion: Why not build a screened in cover that could be removed if needed. You could attach some latches that would secure the cover? Whiskey is older and used to being the leader in food preparation and other tasks. Freedom closes the refrigerator, but Whiskey grabs all the food, etc. I am praying that Whiskey will not jump out of the box and injure himself. That would be tragic for all of us. Has he ever seen Freefom riding in the box by herself and enjoying it? That may be something you want try. Dogs can always learn from each other. I am keeping him in my prayers and applaud your efforts!
Aw Whiskey and Freedom and your other dog are all so precious ❤❤❤

Are you planning on putting a cover on that cart? Cause that set up as is is not safe, watching him in it makes me shudder!😮
That’s dangerous to have him in there on a ride. He’ll jump out while it’s moving and get hurt. He is cute, though.
That’s why we are training with the trailer. Not dangerous if you train first.
Well done Whiskey, great effort! 🥰 Free just loves it though, she’s a seasoned pro now ☺️🩷
Freedom absolutely loves to ride!
