Soly is incorrect and Randy is correct regarding Bradley’s match. When Bradley makes his birdie putt, the closer putt is automatically conceded, thus the match ends at 1up. they don’t win the hole bc the opponent doesn’t get the chance to or need to putt the putt to tie the hole Also thought it was kinda funny that Tron said “there’s being a heel and then there’s just being annoying”
Guys great show as always. 1 point. If the international team from years ago made up of Ernie Els, Vijay Singh, Nick Price, Greg Norman and Steve Elkington could only 1 win and a tie in 03 what do you think guys like Adam Scott Min Woo Lee and Tom Kim are going to do? There is a reason this is so lopsided. This reminds me of the Ryder Cup before Europe was brought on board. A lopsided affair that almost died.
I listened to pgatour radio because it wasn’t on peacock for some reason that makes no sense to me. Honestly, I got more out of the radio broadcast than I have from any peacock viewing experience so far this year
I’m sure some of the non-American players enjoy this event, but speaking as a non-American golf fan, I have no idea why I’m supposed to care about this event. There is nothing appealing to me about cheering for an “International” team. There’s no pride there.
The reason the game of golf is currently going through this huge shift is mainly because of the entitled nonchalant views from the dominated USA point of view. The entire world is screaming out for more golf but the PGA commercialism has ruined it. The irony of Americans wanting better opponents to play in these competitions but not seeing past the fact you won’t share the opportunities and promote it better to the world wide community is hilarious. Talking down and discrediting international players is cringeworthy to listen to. Be better
@@ShaneChilly I guarantee the next round you play, ask everyone you meet who won the BMW championship this week… they wouldn’t know who won it or where it was.. let alone it was won by an American who loves “football”… but no doubt they know what Brandle Chambles outrages quote for comparing Scottie Scheffler to Tiger is this week. My view has nothing to do with the USA fans or golfers… it’s the coverage and bias. Watch a DP world tour event and then a CBS PGA event and be honest about what product is better. It’s poetic that the game and coverage shouldn’t be point and shoot
I get that there are obvious things to improve with the event but to shit on the players is in very poor taste.. imagine if rather than talking this shit.. these fellas asked Christiaan “Beindeszoht” to join the show and ask his opinions and have a proper chat… they should build the game and the players up.. but instead they are too lazy to even learn the absolute basics of how to even learn his name?!. Christiaan is currently the 20th best putter in the world. That sounds like just another stat.. but actually think about how fucking good that is.
Why is the conclusion that the international players just need to “play better”, but when we talk about the US Team in Rome, ZJ gets eviscerated? The talent gap is understandably large but ultimately the players gotta show up. Let’s not flip flop
Just imagine, this course stinks and it's considered one of the "nicest" ones in the Montreal area. Also completely inaccessible for the majority of people and the members there are a joke. It's tough for us to get good golf in Montreal.
Soly, no problem you being "the bad guy", but just know, we're not missing any of the LIV guys. They're not (as you put it) "interesting" when they miss cuts in the majors.
Shocked and disappointed that after what was truly a historic performance by the US side, NLU classlessly leverages this into an attack onto what has become a cherished biannual summer tradition (the format). Bezuidenhout may be lacking in driving accuracy, but the biggest deficit in this tournament may just be NLU’s sense of propriety. Not good!
The makeshift trapdraw in the first 5 minutes was delight
The new KillHouse intro fkn SLAPS
I’m flying to Montreal tomorrow for the weekend matches and now you guys making me doubt 😅
“I was gonna make a Cantlay joke” 😂 love my guy TC
This is a great podcast when two of the three presenters are talking. The other is like a younger brother who's tagging along.

As a Golden Flash Alumni myself, I can say, unequivocally, there is 0 pride and we are definitely not better than this.
As a community - we need to laugh through the pain. This event SUCKS.

Replace the presidents cup with PGA vs LIV
The Nothingburger Cup!

What opportunities are not being shared to the world by the PGA?

And if you don’t know what im on about.. it’s ok, but the fact that the LIV players aren’t playing in this is THE reason and point you are missing

Because team US was favored in Rome and got boatraced, international team wasn’t expected to win this event
Understood. I just don’t get the heightened importance of the captains. US team didn’t get off the bus in Rome and the players are to blame.

Ranked 20th in putting.. they forget that
