@Solo Rider this is not the Top Speed of your Bike. Take your head down below the Windshield... Press your knees left'n right on the Tank ... and in 5th. Gear pull the Bike in the Limiter and then shift in 6th. Gear ... this brings up to 5 km/h plus.

I usually do more than 1 hour road trip .. I even once did 10 hours road trip 🤣 but would think twice before I do it again because of my back and there is too much vibration on such motor speed RPM

No, unfortunately there is no gear indicator from Aprilia for this model .. yeah .. it's an issue specially it's a beginner bike .. but once you get used to it .. it will annoy you less ..
The older was faster a bit yes, but I think you are talking about another bike .. maybe the 2tk ? The RS125 2tk has more horse power. Maybe this is the one you mean 🤔
@@laytonliddell2198 i don’t get that, for example Motogp in 2002 There were 4 manufacturers that had 4 stroke introduced in that year (Yamaha YZR-M1, Aprilia RS Cube Suzuki GSV-R and the Honda RC211V) the rest however still used a 2 stroke engine like the nsr500 Yamaha YZR-500 but you could see that especially the Nsr500 was powerful at accelerating but still the 4 strokes had a way higher top speed so why is this the reverse ?

I’m sure it can do more in some conditions maybe 130 Km/h without exceeding the maximum allowed RPM … 😉 I will give it another couple of tries ..

you need to duck down to become more aerodynamic because if you aren't that increases drag so less top speed and acceleration.

Buddy, that version is 2 stroke and this one is 4. All we remember that time of fast and loud but in EU they don’t allow you to use it anymore.
But why does a 125cc only go 125 km/h about that speed while a older 125cc GP bike got about 240 km/h
