These two are absolutely brilliant together
Jamie Laing is someone i didn't like until he started to be himself. This is such an entertaining podcast.
Never realised Jamie L. was so entertaining & lucid. Great stream Rob 🔝
Jamie is charming, I loved him on Wilty
Rob's podcast is great. Jamie's podcast is great. Love them both. 💟💟
Admission: I have no prior knowledge of Jamie, but I thought this was a great, entertaining interview and he seems like a genuinely clued up and decent guy.
The love in these comments is truly inspiring. Keep it up, everyone!
His tackle on Brad Thorne at Rugbyaid changed my complete perception of Jamie, he seems like a stand up guy, no one can question is 100% commitment to everything
Totally changed my opinion about this guy. Really appreciate
He was funny doing that posh test with Jack Whitehall.
Bit of a knob, but he knows it. I like Jamie though...
Well played, sir. 👋
Lee is that you?
A bit? 🤣
classic Dunning-Kruger effect
He's worse than Coogan for bringing up his BAFTAs 😂😂
High 'praise' indeed
Super hair Rob
brilliant!
Next week...Joey Essex...🤭 On a serious note, Jamie did come from a better breed of Chelsea crowd.
I liked this!
Everybody can get a bafta
This must be a character. I dont buy for a second that someone that posh can live in leeds for 3 years and come out saying "Popular music artists coldplay"
oh dear
The Dunning-Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people with limited competence in a particular domain overestimate their abilities.
I've never heard of him, sorry, and your text intro didn't help, what on earth is 'made in chelsea'...? Ah well, seems like a very nice guy!
Jaime's ancestor invented the McVitie's digestive biscuit! Made in Chelsea? Wealthy-familied, twenty-something toffs bed hopping and spending most of their time on long vacations...
Read the intro at the top of the page - all will become clear.
Or not, apparently!
Well, you can't know everyone 😮
Hmmm i think Rob could have been a bit kinder here. Jamie is actually lovely and warm and his podcast "Great Company" shows him as a really authentic person with great interviewing skills. Rob just seemed a bit bitter and cynical.
You obviously really like Jamie Laing and are being overprotective - Brydon was his usual dry humourous self and wouldn’t have invited Jamie on his podcast unless he genuinely liked him and Jamie is a grown man - you can relax, mother hen :)
I agree jessa, I think with Jamie and Jessica Knappett he wasn't quite his usual self - less playful than usual. I feel like they were guests he didn't know very well vs his usual guests, which seems unfair
It is indeed a bit of a mystery.....usually enjoy but could live without this one....sorry....
I know him from 8 out of 10 cats
This is the first time that I have felt negativity towards Rob. I think Jamie is a good bloke. However, Brydon keeps calling him out for being posh or privileged. It is also possible to be Welsh and privileged.
Could be BoJo’s cousin.
At his age, to suddenly discover the wonders of live music is a bit sad.
Posh boy arrogance. Nothing that wrong with him. But makes the most obvious statements as if he is the first person to ever think them.... That Coldplay anecdote was dry as you like...
He's a poshboy, he doesn't possess the common sense that those not brought up posh have. He's a little thick. I mean, he thinks he's the only one who knows what a Winnebago is, doesn't know what an Airstream is, thinks Taylor Swift is C&W .
But, he's OK, he's always good on Cats Does Countdown. Mind, he's not as stupid as Joey Essex!
Came out of this half way.......did I miss anything?
No, no.
No
Boring guest
Wait - Laing thinks Taylor Swift is a "Country and Western singer"?? 🤣🤣
Scraping the bottom of the barrel eh Rob? 😂
