Browns have looked terrible in preseason too. Watson is STILL a big question mark, and our O-Line is all banged up. We’ve got some problems too. I’m not sure about Cincy this year, but it looks like the Ravens are on another level compared to everyone else in the division. I’m proud that we (probably) have the best/most competitive division in the NFL… but it’s so tough to make it out on the other side still in tact!! It would be so much better to be in one of the cupcake NFC Divisions 😩😩😂
No need to sound any alarms right now, it’s just preseason. Last year the starters went 5 for 5 with drives and TD’s and looked elite, only to blow it in the regular season. Plus, there has been a ton of pressure overhaul with this team so it’s going to take time for chemistry to be built. We also have some injuries along the O-line in Jones and Fautanu, once those guys get healed up and get a few games under them, they should be very good. This team isn’t going to blow the roof off in the first few weeks but I can see everything really start to click around our bye week, just in time for the gauntlet of difficult games.

I disagree, the falcons were trash before Smith got there and they were trash with him. However, the Titans were mediocre before Smith, were incredible the 2 seasons he was their OC, and then terrible after he left. Just look at those team’s records and his timelines. He gets no credit for the great offense when he was an OC but gets torn apart for a poor offense when he’s the HC, makes no sense. And before you say he used Henry to trick everyone, the great Bill Belichick has said “a great player can’t overcome terrible coaches”. Furthermore, Henry was a Titan since 2016 yet they only went to the AFC championship under Smith in 2019 and got their first double digit win season with smith in 2020, also the first and only year Henry won OPOY. Smith was a trash head coach but he was a good OC, some guys can’t handle the HC position but that doesn’t mean they suck at other positions.
i watched the game yesterday and it was awful. to only muster three points and it wasn’t from the starting unit is not good at all. to be fair broderick jones is playing out of position still no excuse but that’s true and he’s hurt. having two rookies and a 2nd year player is not good for russ’ health. so i completely agree if this is gonna be the OL than just roll with justin but i don’t think it’ll be that bad but it will take a couple weeks for them to gel. i think russ needs to be the starter and let justin fields keep improving. he’s not ready yet in my opinion.

Troy Fautanu is an undersized Tackle he won’t last there, James Daniels is average at best never been better than Kevin Dotson, Isaac Seumalo was a terrible signing when you still had Dotson who’s a top 5 G, Broderick is disappointing slow feet(speed rushers will dominate him), weak upper core(bullrush is also his weakness) and looks uninterested out there(bust?). Wilson is washed up SP used scheme to get guys open and predetermined throws. Fields is a turnover machine bust, can’t throw accurately downfield and doesn’t have any anticipation or a fast release. Can’t wait till they go 6-11 and fire tomlin. Don’t even get me started on these WRs, easily the worst WR corps the Steelers have had in over 20 years. JPP will be a bust once teams start scheming and targeting him downfield with speed and physicality. Travis Etienne touchdown last year showed he can’t handle speed at all. Plus the rest of the secondary is below average with 2 journeyman starters(Elliott and Donte suck) that aren’t better than Edmunds or Steven Nelson. The only good thing this team has is front 7 and even then the MLBs will get exposed in coverage like they always do.
Man this wide receiver group doesn't make sense at all they should have kept johnson. Instead of trading for a corner who is always injured and can only play man. It's the preseason but if they play like this in the regular season they will only win 5 games max.

Preseason last year showed their ceiling... Which they didn't reach at all under Tomlin and Canada. This team's ceiling is what we're looking at.
