- In this video I attempt to remove the Ram Rebel bash plate without removing the whole bumper only to find out it wasn't going to be that easy, In this video I show what bolts are needed to be removed in order to get the bumper off of the truck and also we go thought the disassembly of the bumper to accommodate for our new mods for the truck. Plus I plasti dip for the first time and show you the results and the new color. Enjoy....

This is going to look so much better! I love the Rebel but I've always liked the the front ends a little better on the regular Rams. I think this is going to fix that. The white and black with the red tow hooks is going to be slick!

Hey Steve ! Hope you are feeling better now. It's unfortunate that you had to buy that grill piece. threw mine away and installed the light bar on the first week itself just using some basic clamps. No issues till date on my rebel even after a lot of high-speed trail bashing. - cheers !

"HammerDown".i/we guys on the "Ram F.B".did it a short cut way.we /i did what your doing.but we just covered everything.i went to the "DollarStore"but the masking tape and the rolls of shelf paper.taped it all off.we never remove the bumper,as for the lightbar? i did the same all install with bumper still in place.sorry i am not trying to show you disrepect on your site,i consider you a friend.i learned a lot from you for my rebel2019.👍😎😎
no worries the only reason I removed it all is cause I didn't the edges to peel if I couldn't get under the plate and as for the light bar it can be done with the bumper on but with the horns it is much easier to have it all taken apart for me but I can agree with you for sure, Thanks for being part of the channel

i did black because my truck is black, but the white was a good choice with having a white truck.

Might need to trim the plastidip around the tow hooks. The inserts may not fit. I think it is going to look good though. Nice job.
Damn that's allot of work to remove the skid plate. How many hours did it take? I'm thinking of getting mine lineX or sanding down to the bare metal and clear coating it.
That’s a great video looks like Ram overdid all the bolts but nice job that is going to look awesome. I think you made the right choice and how did you get the paint spray cans the same color as the truck

How is the plasti dip holding up on the skid plate?
Was thinking line-x for this plate. How durable is that plastidip? Any peeling?
I ended up going with Raptor liner in the spray can and it turned out really well
isn't it enough to remove the bashplate and the lower grill piece instead of taking the full bumper of to remove that plastic back piece?

I think the white will look good but you might want to have it linex white instead cuz its gonna get a beating.

Mines been Plasti dipped for about a year and made it through a Maine winter and still looks like the day I did it.
