  • I hate to do negative videos but I have decided I have to do it! I have decided to speak up and share my very dissapointing experience with Mirta company! I do not want anyone to experience what I have experienced so let me just share with you my story and let it out of my system!

    Thank you so much for the warning! I know it was probably hard to do a negative video...but this was so informative. I'm glad you were able to dispute the charges. Makes total sense that you'd no longer want the items because every time you'd look at them, it would be a reminder of all of this chaos/uncertainty/frustrations.

    Thank you Magda for sharing this because I had a very strange experience with Mirta also. I ordered my first bag (a white one) around mid July and was thinking it would get here mid to late August so I can use it for the end of Summer or even September latest because they said it takes 4 weeks. The bag didn’t arrive til the 3rd week of of October after all my emails. They said they shut down for all of August and I told them it should be clearly stated online because tons of influencers are getting their bags and giving us all discount codes. What made me mad at MIRTA not the ladies on YT as it’s not their fault is I didn’t recall a single influencer on YT having any issues with getting their bags on time but regular people like me and others I chatted with online had to wait forever. I had also ordered a burgundy bag around that time and it came in 4 days after it said 4 weeks to be “hand crafted”. I think that shows these bags are pre-made and that was off-putting. I also noticed their website has very few products now so something must be going on with the platform. Thank you for letting me know and now I don’t feel like it was just me having a terrible time.

      Thank you for sharing your experience. This company has obviously some major issues. there is many people like you and me that got frustrated with them. I am glad at least you got your bags.
      I heard many European businesses like to take August off in Italy and France. Not sure about other countries but this should be clearly stated on their website and they should not be taking any orders during that time since bags are not being made. It’s super frustrating!

    Thank you for sharing this. I had once purchased bags worthy 10000 USD from Mirta too and I had the worst purchasing experience ever. Let's not mentioning all the waiting and countless emails. When we finally received the goods, there are items missing and the most ridiculous is that we found there are euro coins in one of the bags which means it is a used bag. So unacceptable! After that I've reached out to the all the Italian brands by my company ourself, most of the brands didn't know what happened to their bags and international customers. I hope no one will have the same experience ever. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MIRTA!

    Thank you for doing this video. I was SO close to buying a bag from Mirta when Mel had her discount code. Now I'm glad I didn't. I will definitely never buy from them after hearing your terrible experience.

    While I like Mel and I don't know anything about brand collaborations I would hope that more care would be taken before promoting a brand. The fact that she was working with a third party rather than the actual brand raises red flags to me.

    Thank u so much for doing it. Please people never trust UA-camrs advertising for other product. They are paid for this and we have to pay for virtual poor product. Been there, have got that experience and I said to myself NEVER!

    Wow, that’s so crazy. Glad you were able to get your money back. I ordered from Mirta in Spring 2021 & received my bag without issue. Seems like something has changed & not for the better.

    This MIRTA company sounds like a cowboy company, don’t ever buy something through the recommendation of another UA-camR discount code etc, we do not know what is going on between them, glad you got your money back, thanks for doing this video. I am never influenced by any UA-camr, let alone anyone.

    No need to stress yourself by communicating with them once you had a refund. If you end up getting the bags by mail after, keep it. It will be compensation for all of your pain & suffering.
    Paypal works well with overseas transactions. Refunds usually only takes a few days.
    I've been scammed a few times online.

    My experience was also bad. I let Mel know but no response from her since I am not another UA-camr and don’t matter I suppose. I had ordered in July 2022 and by October I hadn’t received it so I sent an email to cancel the order. I didn’t hear back for a month and then they said can’t cancel because free keychain and the shawl is now ready to be shipped but not the bag. I said no thanks, please cancel. A month later they ship my order anyways. I go to the website and the refund page doesn’t work. I just ended up emailing them. they quickly agreed to refund. However, I received a bill for importing from delivery company for over $100. That made me so mad that they shipped the item hoping i would keep it even after I asked for it to be cancelled and now I’m responsible for this import fee! It took me another two months to resolve this issue.

    Hi there, so I ordered from them as well. It took about 2 months but they were very communicative. I’m shocked!!! Wow! Truly surprised… they explained that the bag is hand crafted and it would take about 2 months. I had a great Experience. Thanks for sharing

    Thank you so much to upload this video! I was so tempted to buy a carbotti handbag through mirta because of the sale! Now I would just buy the handbag directly to the company. Maybe not too :/

    This proves to me that some UA-camrs will do anything for money. Did Mel do a video about this when she knew it happened to others? I don’t watch her so I don’t know.

      I have the same experience, ordered an item after watching Mel in August. Waited until October but I emailed them only once and after 3 days, they sent an email that it was already shipped. I didn’t get the free bag charm though.

    I had an experience with them about 1.5 years ago. The bag had a small defect that I found unacceptable so I asked for a refund. The process is a bit messy but I did get a refund. Sounds like their CS really went down hill since they had switched their business model from retail to wholesale.

    What a terrible and disheartening experience. I’m sorry you went through this. I found Mirta online in 2021 but I never bought anything from there. I had a feeling issues like extended wait times would happen so I avoided it. At least a few of the artisans on their website like Pelletteria Viviani have their own website so you can purchase from them directly and I have also noticed it can be much cheaper, hopefully there won’t be issues purchasing from the artisans directly but their website so often say it’s a two month wait

    Also, Mel should address this on her youtube channel. No one promotes a collaboration through another company? Doesn't make sense, and what doesn't make sense is normally not true. I'm very disappointed in Mel for promoting a company she knows nothing about. Please don't try to make excuses for her, when I sign my name on contract, I have to agree to what it says and KNOW and UNDERSTAND what it says.

    Hi, thank you for doing this video. It is very helpful. I watched mel in melbourne youtube and was very tempted to use her 25% discount code. Luckily i didnt ordered the bag i like as that time i had jus bought a new bag. I will not buy any bag through them even when they improve their system.

    I bought 2 bags from Mirta one of bags is the exact one you ordered. It took some time, I got them on 4 to 6 weeks. I also used the coupon code from Mel. But they were keep emailing that they are working on it and will send soon even though I never reached them. I’m probably lucky.. i actually thought of buying one more to gift my friend and browsed about Mirta and came across this video. So I’m not gonna buy it.. thanks
