I'm diggin the simple life! After visiting the Philippines for 8 months last year, I'm ready to go back and do it permanently. I stay in Olongapo/Subic bay area, but I've been traveling to Iloilo, Mindoro, and other popular places like Manila, Baguio, and Tagaytay. I moved out of my expensive home, I need to sell my truck, and pay off some remaining debt then its onward!

@ 32:30 I'm at that point now, exactly like you said. "It doesn't impress me anymore". For the last year or so, i've been thinking about getting rid of all the materialistic things you mentioned. I have all of that right now. Single/homeowner/decent bank account/2 cars/2 motorcycles/living alone and FOR WHAT? I hate it now, i couldn't care less about all that shit anymore. It's not making me the happiest i could be. I'm tired of this rat race and want to permanently get away. You said a mouth full and hit the nail right on head. It speaks volumes to me. I need to get the fuck away from this non-free feeling lifestyle. I don't want to be tied to any job or any person in charge of how my spend my days, except the love of my life and that's it. No matter what you get in life, at some point, enough is enough and to look at something beautiful an attraction, yes 5 minutes is enough. I totally agree with you concerning wealth and happiness vs not wealth but still happiness, meaning expensive things don't make you happy 🤔

Seaquest Dive Center has turned into Oasis Beach Resort. They still do great dive training. The club next door is a hopping disco. Great beach

I like your video, its giving me a glimps on my coming vacation in bohol this october. I hope no rain or typhoon...!
My GF(now wife) and I explored and found that little secret cove back in '15. next time book the resort at the far end of beach the other way-inexpensive resort that winds up the hill w/ a cool little pool. we ended up with a separate cabana type structure, which was very nice for the price with a/c and our own little porch that is ON the beach. showed the wife the video(we are now living in the states-for now), but it brought back a lot of great memories. We also found an awesome hidden waterfall about an hr up the coast on Bohol island, up the mtn 20 mins and another 10-20min trek through the jungle/river. only way we found it was some local offered to show it to us....never saw anyone else there, leaving or going.
I like your attitude. And you have a great lifestyle there. One day I will be moving there.

Last year I went to Gloria Oriental mindoro Philippines and I have the best time of my life I enjoy so much that I become a better person, I wish one day you visit theare I'm sure you will like it because I didn't Not see tourists at all.

and i grew around the beach most of my life I love the beach 1 up is being able to go chill on an island ..this is like my ultimate regular thing I would do I just couldn't manage to be alone being new to traveling ..you need me we would make an awesome look out for each other with the Filipinas and I would help with the babies you make ..ask my brothers lol
I've been there but I liked Anda beach better. Anda is less commercial.... Chocolate hills was nice... The Tarsier place and Bohol Bee Farm was nice too...

You had barbecue chicken, just off the beach, but you did not say what it costs. You talked about it a lot, but did not give useful information. People need to know what things cost. Not just hear whatever pops into your head. Put some thought into your videos.
Whole Chicken BBQ will cost anywhere from 4 to 5 USD on most part of Philiipines.
A good vegetarian meal with some Carolina Reaper powder and garlic, that's great.
your stomach must be cast iron to use Carolina Reaper. It brought tears to my eyes.
