    Thank you for the tutorial. I work with small groups and the computer that I would be using doesn't have Powerpoint. It is a chromebook. Is there a way to save the document (maybe on a flashdrive) in such a way that it will play properly even without Powerpoint installed on the computer?

      Unfortunately only through Google Slides I believe. My father had this same issue and ended up wiping Chrome from the Chromebook and installing Linux instead.

    Loved this video, very clear. one question: How do i remove the image in the background so i can use a new image?

    • @TheTechTrain

      Go to the Home Tab, then choose Selection > Selection Pane. You can then select the image from the list of items on your slide, and then add a new image. Once you've inserted a new image, either drag it down the list in the Selection Pane, or right-click the image and choose Send To Back.

    Hi, in MS Teams when you share a PowerPoint in presenter mode, students can click on any links you have added and open them up, so if I shared this in presenter mode, would the students be able to click on the individual square they have chosen to remove it? Thank you!

    How to add this puzzle game with different size blocks

    • @TheTechTrain
      @TheTechTrain  5 років тому +1

      You could just adjust the size of the blocks as you copy them. You could even stretch them to create rectangles, or Edit Points to create freeform shapes. Or add other shapes and simply copy the animation across.

    how is this a game since a student can press all the buttons at once and the object is revealed!!

    • @TheTechTrain
      @TheTechTrain  6 років тому +2

      Firstly, it's not possible for a student to click all buttons at once. The squares are each separate, and so each square has to be clicked individually - the whole image can't be revealed in one go. Secondly, you obviously wouldn't just hand this to students to reveal. The idea is to use it as a classroom resource. I describe a couple of different ideas in the first 40 seconds of the video. So, for example, you could have each square containing a different letter. Students have to then put their hand up, or are chosen randomly, and have to identify a subject or topic word that begins with that letter. If they get it right then they get to come up to the front and click that letter. If they can then guess the image underneath they get a prize, otherwise it continues to the next student, who repeats the process. There are many other ways of using it as a starter or a plenary. Let me know if you need any more ideas.
