Everyone is over the top and so unique in this video. Man, this is musical, sexy, and dripping with funk, the mic drop Kurt does is an actual mic drop.! The drummer is so dope...
The whole album has a strong blues jazz feel and is super melodic. Kurt is a supreme jazz vocalist but I love what he has done with these three underrated sidemen Charlie especially. The Groove is super appealing and I particularly love Kurt’s interpretation of Wayne Shorter’s ‘Where to Find It’. Could this lead to another Grammy.
Thanks for inspiring me to check out Kurt's Where to Find It. WOWIE!! I can't even begin to describe the musical style of that piece? It is so utterly original....
absolutely INSANE
that is the hippest video ever!!!! featuring my favourite singer and guitar wizard of all time....gives me a reason to keep living!!
Charlie in absolute disbelief of the groove he himself is creating...

Simply brilliant
I had to pull my car off the road the first time I heard this on our local jazz station. That drummer! Kurt! Zow!
Some dance with two left feet…Kurt Elling sings with two right brains. Smooth coolness incarnate.
What an amazing and beautiful tribute to Sarah Vaughan aka Sassy ❤️

hints of Stevie Wonder... how does that guitar play in tune (diagonal frets ?)
IIRC they're called fanned frets and enable a more precise tuning than regular ones, especially on longer scale guitars like Charlie's 7 and 8 strings
