Dr. Griggs, is it safe to eat store bought corn chips. Is it considered processed food. I have stage 4 breast cancer and having chemotherapy for almost 2 years now.
I was told. not to have kale as high antioxidants affect chemo. from working. Very confusing bc before chemo this is what I was juicing &;eating dark leafy greens.
Dietary antioxidants are likely to be safe. It is antioxidant supplements that we worry about more. Hope this is helpful.

In general, the less the food is processed by mankind, the better. Powders and shakes are processed forms of food. Trying to eat foods that haven't been processed is the best way to get nutrients naturally.

Some people have said they have felt well when they water fast before and after the chemo sessions. Is that good to have on fast as you bodies glucose level will be lowered and cancerous cells will be starved of their fuel?
Cancer cells will get their energy any way they can. Short term fasting does not starve the cancer cells of their energy. Most people find that the nausea is worse if chemotherapy is given on an empty stomach.
