Dacia Duster - Maximum detail clutch kit professional replacement

- EDUCATIONAL VIDEO (with excellent proper mechanics) - Dacia is a Renault acquired brand. The Duster is a light offroad focused 4x4 (high torque first gearbox gear) that uses Renault, Dacia, Nissan X-Trail and Mercedes common parts. The video contains about 5 hours of work in 12 minutes. You should be able to see how the left engine part and support is removed to gain access to the gearbox. Once the gearbox is removed you are able to access the clutch assembly and replace it. We did not replace the rear main seal because we want to see how much the original will last. We also changed the clutch pedal pump.
The replaced clutch was working OK with only the clutch pedal being very hard. It was the OE one from late 2014 and was used for 130k km including several thousand of ramp (hill) starts in tire testing. It is surprising how well it still looks considering the use.
The new clutch works flawlessly and the mechanics team from EvoAuto Sirius Heritage (Bucharest) has done a great job. we thank them for their skill and patience for allowing us to film it.
We must also mention the senior mechanic Iulian or "Sirius" as everyone knows him, he is a former Dacia/Titu employee: a car mechanic, car engineer, driver and FRAS-licensed race referee, the creator of countless rally car prototypes /offroad/speed, creator of the first Dacia 1300 with permanent 4x4 drive and 500 hp, dyno tested, etc. In the same way, the young mechanic also impressed with his attention to detail and dedication.

absolutely fantastic video that I discovered just this evening. Kudos to the "Sirius" and his young coworker, especially, as you mentioned, on their patience with you being around all the time.....I am just like you are, always trying to make the best when my Duster is on the ramp, taking pictures, notes etc...to check and see how the parts are looking and all...but, it is almost never possible to be around during the whole process....great job and great video 👌

Had my DMF replaced by Renault/Dacia service under warranty extension, after one month I noticed gear fluid leaking from the transfer case... Waiting for the seal to arrive next week...
What’s the flywheel correct duration for manual transmission duster 2015
Does it have to be disassembled that much to replace a dual-mass flywheel and clutch set? I'd rather sell it then. Here in Hungary, there is no mechanic that I would dare to trust. In my old car, I also got a handful of screws back that you don't know where they were, but they came out of my car. 😧😧😱😱
Considering that there is no tangible border between Hungary and Romania for Europeans, nothing is stopping you to do this operation in Timisoara, Arad or Oradea😉

very nice, the clutch plate does look still pretty very good but the 2mass flywheel is total toast..... unfortunately this problem is on nearly all new cars very common.... i hate 2mass flywheels the old style spring damped clutch discs with static flywheels worked flawless but no industry had to switch to 2mass flywheels for a tiny bit more comfort/less vibration on the clutch pedal.... z z z z industry : if it needs to be repaired the customer will pay anyway LOL

You are missing the fact that they are very light cars... and this makes that 4x4 very good.
@@DaciaDusterTrails I agree with you and I really like your work, however, too many parts went down for a simple clutch replacement 🙄 I keep my choice for 👌truck based vehicles ( chassis + cab ) which are much more easier to work on :)
