For the first story, anytime now someone reports weird stuff happening in the home, someone else always comments with a warning about carbon monoxide. It is a very good first item to have on one's checklist when experiencing strange things in the home.
Everyone should have detectors, AND know how to test them. Most have a test button, but there is usually a specific series of presses and holds that you need to do. Also, recognize the signs/ symptoms. The first and most obvious one is fatigue. As millennials begin to eclipse 40 en masse, we are probably always “somewhat tired” at any given point of any given day. But if you have younger pets (especially dogs) or younger children, and they seem low energy/ fatigued, yeah I would get your living space tested.
A Reddit post saved my life too. There was a post about a woman who had been seeing an unknown man in her apartment. She was terrified, ended up getting cameras, but couldn’t get any footage of him, and kept seeing him. Users told her that hallucinations can be a sign of uncontrolled epilepsy. At the time, I had been experiencing this same thing. It was putting a lot of stress on my relationship, and I really thought I was losing my mind. After reading the post, I went to my neurologist, and they changed up my seizure meds. I haven’t had any issues since. I’m really thankful I stumbled upon that post.

Lol right, awesome story. Someone is finding strange Post-Its in their apartment, which is enough to freak anyone TF out, and it's revealed it was himself cus he was being poisoned by carbon monoxide??!?
I had a friend that got carbon monoxide poisoning with her car. It affected her short term memory for years. Quite bad at first. They weren’t sure she’d ever be the same
Wow that is pretty scary, because cars can get damaged and develop exhaust leaks, (just from rust, or from driving on really rough roads repeatedly, or driving over a bumpy area with a lower sitting car and bottoming out etc.) Getting a leak can cause carbon monoxide to enter the cabin and it isn't always an obvious problem that people notice right away. It would really suck to have your short term memory damaged over something you didn't even realize was an issue
Maybe DMT opens doors to other realities that we are normally unable to access. It's typical for scientists to dismiss such experiences as hallucinations because it doesn't fit into the box of provable truths our society accepts.
