I like his odd sense of humor and it's obvious his mind is going nonstop with any number of things he's trying to problem solve at the same time he's doing the interview..

My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless
The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading

One of the best Elon interviews in quite a while. Some repeated material, but mostly new stuff. And I can't remember him being in this good of a mood in a long time. Well done.
He’s talking publicly to his friends instead of a journalist or fan, which is quite uncommon.

Nice interview guys. Great to see Elon feeling comfortable answering all the critical questions some CEOs might just refuse to answer.
Elon is a charismatic and interesting guy, great knowledge from this man.
This interview is so much better than either the Financial Times or TED interviews. I wish Elon would only do interviews tech savvy people with a proven record of success. It's a waste of time for Elon to be interviewed by "gotcha" "journalists".
Well this is different because Elon is actually buddies with the besties. It comes over way more natural and he's having fun like you see.
It’s also true that the questions were better. There’s a tired old ground nature to the questions journalists ask; the profession is vulnerable to that.
Elon got a bit side-tracked though on some of the questions. Still a good episode since we got a some new perspectives, e.g. on work ethic China vs USA.

3. Physics and fusion energy.

I work for a Community Foundation and these words from Elon Musk hit home. "Life cannot be about solving one miserable problem after another, it's about inspiring and exciting". Great words, I think even in my sector of work, "we" can get caught up in just servicing rather than inspiring.

Objectively one of the best interviews I have seen with Elon. He was comfortable among friends and peers who are intelligent enough to ask valuable questions, and actually get unique insights from him.

This is probably a stupid question but I'm going to ask anyway. Why can't you keep the battery charged with an alternator connected to the rotation of the wheels, put in a rectifier between the alternator and the battery. Maybe put a capacitor before the battery.

@Simulation K A person can't simply poke in his nose to solve an organizations' issue. Had he truly purchased and solve it, he would. But does Twitter even try to solve? Do you even watch this interview, everything was talked about in the beginning.
@Simulation K also understand how blockchain, cryptocurrency and decentralization works because spewing such sheepie brainwashed NPC scripts on cryptocurrency. Elon is not God and he don't control cryptocurrency, no one could. It's the greedy fools with half backed financial knowledge who FOMO and FUD causing the volatility of cryptocurrency market, and the volatility is high because it's "Decentralized" meaning there will never be regulation. Don't be stupid, it's so painful to the point I had to reply with the hope it at lease drill some sense into you.
When he said "it comes to you in a dream" I literally felt his mental lightbulb 💡 light up. Now if he would only tell me what his thoughts were that would be Amazingggg.
It is a curious thing that assembling a car adds negative value - the total value of the unassembled parts have a greater value than a ready-to-roll car. However, the unassembled parts would not have that value unless there were owners of assembled cars to create a market.
