- From 1983. Lou is running away from somebody and Blackie, who found her, is helping her stay hidden. Blackie takes her home so she can get cleaned up. Amy comes home early though and Blackie begins to panic but not for long. He devises a way to get Lou out of the house.
I just loved the way Blackie and Amy spar. And Blackie and Lou were so funny together.
I had to re-upload this since I had originally put up a out of sequence edited clip.
I used to have a picture of John Stamos on my wall. I loved Blackie!
his acting seems so natural...wish i could say the same thing for his counter parts!
He has always been good looking

I had the pleasure of meeting Danielle von Zerneck (Lou) at Chiller Theatre back in October. She is so awesome. We had about a 20 minute conversation. And her co-star in "La Bamba", Lou Diamond Phillips was at the table next to her. He's awesome too.

What's really funny is 10 years later, John Stamos returned to GH for a cameo... he played himself while Scotty, Dominique and Julia stared at him in a restaurant. I posted those clips last year.

EpsilonMK12: Right around that time, I remember John Stamos' fame and career had begun to take off like wildfire. He was a real heartthrob back in his heyday. I think that getting stuck into a Soap-Op character would've proved too restricting for one so young. Big acts like Demi Moore and Rick Springfield were also part of the cast of General Hospital in the 80s.

This could've just as easily been a pre-Full House moment circa 1983-ish, where Jesse is babysitting Stephanie who would've been a toddler at the time, while Danny and Pamela are working and young D.J. is in school. While Stephanie is napping, he then sneaks his struggling girlfriend in, and Pamela comes home early.
I don't remember Amy living with Rick and Leslie. But Blackie was definitely a hearth throb. One of my first huge crushes.

This Blackie - Lou story is a lot like the Frisco - Felicia one that follows a year later...
wow, it just shows that when TPTB choose to go in a different direction... they go full steam ahead.

The Pogues, was one lucky guy to marry her. I loved Danielle and still do (respectfully of course) to this day.
She was the PRETTIEST DONNA that La Bamba could have EVER cast.
The scene where she picks Richie up in that sweet car; while the soundtrack is playing "This I Swear" by the Skyliners, I will never forget.

Well...Blackie went to jail for killing Lou (although it was an accident, Blackie confessed to her "murder".) Amy just faded away when the producers took the actress, who just died, off contract.
well it SHOULD be gone... I mean the Webbers don't live there anymore and I'm sure that Feliica and Mac...who decorated the place have WAAAY different tastes than Rick and Lesley did.

Blackie goes to prison for manslaughter. Lou dies and even though it's not totally Blackie's fault, his guilt over her death causes him to confess and plead guilty.
i saw and comedy ensued... u know it would've been different had the writers thought of a different way to use the cameo, like i don't know a blackie making it in hollywood type of deal... but eh i guess it would've taken more effort than they were willing to give
The last we see of Blackie is when he heads to prison. He was convicted of killing Lou even though he really didn't, he felt guilty about her death and confessed to her death.

Krista Brewer Lou was Blackie's girlfriend. The following year she had a fight with him and hit her head on the coffee table and died. He took the blame for her death and is still in jail for her "murder". Even though it was an accident. He thinks he killed her.
