Individually talented artists, very tight with great chemistry a# a group. Seen them twice in SFBay Area. Wish they strayed off latest album more second time through thou, but those are the breaks……they play what they want to play. Cherish the time.

We do our best, though sometimes only using iPhone (me personally). But our photographer also shoots some videos with his professional camera, so sometimes you can see two different footages from the same music event.
Why go on at length describing the perfect evening experience? Already the sound from the bustling microphone of this camera reveals that it was fabulous. And live: better sound I have never heard before. This is what voiced drums are supposed to sound like! The band is excellent, as always, nothing to be resolved. A joy to play. An experience of a lifetime. And Simon Phillips? I've been following him in his work with DarWin and Derek Sherinian as well. A great drummer and yet a nice and humble person, it was a great honour to exchange a few sentences with him shortly after the gig. Načo zdĺhavo opisovať dokonalý večerný zážitok? Phillips has a very long and impressive resume and is obviously one the elite drummers currently active. He's always been kind of a chameleon though and quite a few albums that he's on are very derivative. I'm always hoping that he'll do something that pushes beyond what's already been done. I'll keep going to the shows and listening, but have given up on expecting to get Sylvain Darrifourcq or Holdsworth / Wackerman level explorations.

I realize that. When you see the beautiful image quality and then realize the audio is coming from someone’s cell phone it's disheartening.
