I'm still calling it entropic punch so I can live out my dream as playing as the Hawaiian punch mascot "punchy" and fly around in "surfboard" in space selling the beverage of champions!
Was wondering if you guys would ever be covering the Veskarium on here. Thanks for all the great lore! Slowly going through it all for the next game I'm running in a few months or while I'm bored at work.
I feel like shields that a person carries in Starfinder should resemble the personal deflector shields that the Gungans were employing against the Droid army during the Battle of Naboo.... Where it is no larger than a 12" pole. The energy field deploys out 14" on the top and bottom to give you a nearly 30" tall shield, that is 12" wide. It could easily clip onto your trousers or from a loop on your Industrial Backpack.
So does Entropic Strike stack with weapon damage? Or does the damage from Entropic Strike replace the damage your weapon would normally do. Can you only use Entropic Strike with one handed melee weapons? Or can you use it with 2H melee weapons as well?
It replaces the weapon damage, as you are not really using the weapon to do damage but just as a vehicle to deliver the melee energy strike. For the same reason, you can certainly deliver the Entropic Strike with one or two-handed weapons, with shields, with a kick, a toaster, whatever it doesn't matter. However, the strike can take some properties from the weapon you are using as detailed here: "(...) Your entropic strike is considered to be made of whatever material the weapon or shield is made of for the purposes of bypassing DR or creature weaknesses. If the melee weapon or shield is no more than 2 item levels below your vanguard level, you can also apply any weapon special property, critical hit effect, or weapon fusion the melee weapon or shield has to your entropic strike." Pretty rad!
I have avangaurd entropic strike question? Let's say at first lv, you have a weapon that deals 1d4 damage. Doest entropic strike do 1d4? Or 1d3? Or 1d4 +1d3?
Just started playing ... Looked up the rules on Sunder since it is one of my only First level abilities. Is it even possible to sunder a weapon? Give it a try at any level .. say level 5 ... let me know if you can do it in under 30 rounds. IF AT ALL. I suppose IF I get an adamantine weapon to bypass hardness it is possible. I don't see any other way to get past Hardness otherwise.
James Newton? ummm.... Sir Isaac Newton. I would hope people making a science fiction game would know who discovered gravity and formulated the laws of inertia.

Love these vids. Glad starfinder is getting more time in the sun. Looking forward to the witchwarper video.

You're STUPID!!! That is TO FUNNY!! I'm making that character also!!!! LMFAO!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
I just played my first Starfinder game 3-99 at McKrakoncon. I'm loving it so far. Looking at making first character now, a Vanguard.
You don't need to use your hand to use entropic strike. Feet, knee, hip, head any body part will do according to the description.

That's gonna' be covered in a splatbook eventually, and then they'll touch base on it.

I have a question: is the templates grafts like vanguard or biohacker will be incorporated to operation book?
SUPER COOL ! Love your videos!

Doest entropic strike do 1d4?
Or 1d3?
Or 1d4 +1d3?
Question is entropic strike powered by EP or is it independent? Like can you use it outside combat?
