The song fits today more than it did in the early 80's.
My favorite Alice song!
Thanks for posting this. Still my favorite Alice song even today
I *love* this Alice Cooper..how did I miss this? Oh well, better late than never. This is 5 days before my 19th birthday.
Honestly, the fact that Alice was so far gone at this point makes me wonder how he could still have sounded so good.
I love this look
Wish Gary Numan had done a duet w/Cooper. That would have been epic
There's still time! Are Friends Electric?
Saw that show 1980 81 .
I remember when this came out. Awesome!! This performance is phenomenal to see. Alice and his lineups of musicians are phenomenal and so often overlooked. Great upload!! Thanks so much
love this, love Alice
Monster!
Still kicks ass!
it’s just so good
He should never have abandoned synthpop
He did it
Lol
I know he was really messed up and barely alive, but heck I love this incarnation of Alice Cooper. I’m glad he got well, but he was really interesting in this period.
You can tell his addictions were really bad here
This was after rehab
@@tome4285 no it wasn't. The whole album & tour were fueled by booze & coke..
Alice the genius, at his worst
@@tome4285 first rehab for alcohol was documented in the From The Inside album ; the album was so successful that the ensuring tour not only had Alice back into whisky, but also heroin. He stopped everything after the album Dada, because his wife was going to divorce. Since he was clean, the divorce was cancelled and Alice entered his hair metal phase, Hey Stoopid is a song against drugs
@@pilotfish4171 Not heroin. Cocaine.
Cocaine is hell of a drug!
.. He doesn't even remember recording this album ffs..
Puristes !!!
its almost to good
I don't know why this concert was shot in black and white.
This was originally just for the in house TV system in the theater. The capitol theatre in Passaic did all their shows like this.
Omg he's so skinny there
Crack
Alice at his worst
Its a shame that he didn't keep this look, I like the 80's Alice make up, just a shame it is a period of time where his vices got the better of him. Flush the Fashion was a solid album, Special Forces and Zipper Catches Skin had good moments, but no direction, so sounded weak. DaDa only succeeded because Bob Ezrin and Dick Wagner carried that album for Alice
Definitely not his finest hour.
The drummer keeps slowing down and speeding up. Nice performance by Alice, but he's in a bad way.
