Spur gear - In which teeth is straight and used for parallel power transmission.
Helical gear- In which teeth is at an angle or used for parallel power transmission without much noise.
Double helical gear is same as helical gear but it make v shape used in racing cars.
Bevel gear- it is used for power transmission at nighty degree without decrease in speed.
Worm and wheel- It is used to decrease the rpm used in crane.
Rack and pinion - it is used in steering to change the direction. 😅
