The Rudiments were my very first show (The Trocadero) and I had no idea I could have so much fun. Always loved Brent's voice. Bitch Bitch Bitch is an underrated classic. Lars Nylander was even nice enough to send me a custom silk screened shirt of the album art (that I've unfortunately since lost). Also, my friends and I performed Wailing Paddle at our school's talent show. Needless to say, this band will always hold a special place in my heart. Thanks for this.
My very first punk show was the Suspects Los Rudiments opening for Voodoo Glow Skulls in 1994. I got my repressing of skank for brains about 5 years ago. Just an amazing performance by the Rudiments.
Please do so - Im in - and have been in a couple of Bands (rehearsals Tommorow)with Matt Powell lead Git- and I like to surprise him with these old videos- A building fire and severe water damage ruined his collection of things bout a decade back....
I still have a deep love for this band. chocking victim operation Ivy, leftover crack the hardcore ska sound is so good and these guys may had done it best on the "Bitch BItch Bitch" album So many great songs on 1 album
You mentioned 3 of my favorite bands- Me and Matt Powell (guitar /Rudiments)are in a new band ,well its about 5 yrs old ,with a 2 yr covid break - We lean more towards Minor threat- But its all super fast n loud- With Filth (east bay)style lyrics check us out BROKE FIENDS '22 (Bay Area)SF ,ca
Duuuude. This is holy Grail stuff here. For the love of all things please. If you ever find any more. Let us have em!!! And WHAT song is that second one?? Anyone know?
@Junksac Filth negative. 2nd song. Or are you suggesting that the second song they play is an extended version of spoon with completely different lyrics and beat? It goes. Spoon .. mystery song.. then lucky charms. I’m askin bout the second song.
Matt Powell is in a Band called Broke Fiends- Still plays lead git- I'm the drummer. Look for us- we played buncha shows between '17- '20 - Took a hiatus - Now were back...
@bradleygilmer441 sweet. Always wondered what happened to Matt. I know Brent did 78rpms and The Impalers and the horrific crap that happened to Scottzy. Do you know what happened to Craig or Scott R.?
