Road down from the Boston area last month the dragon was great but so many awesome roads in that area ended up riding over 600 miles in four days there glad we did it will do it again. Be safe brother
Rider from Boston here. Cool to see your journey down and the dragon itself. Def on the list, only slightly nervous for it. Not cuz of the road, i can rip that easy. Its the show-offs and double line crossers that kinda scare me off a bit.
glad to see the 3 of you having fun on the tail and didn't have any issues with it. hoping to run into blue bike doyle and her 3 wheels at some point just out riding around being we live kinda close to each other and seem to ride the same roads quite often...LOL stay safe and keep on riding.
Great video! I love it up in that area so many fun roads and views. The dragon is just special and rite of passage type road. I got to do it a few days before they repaved and then again last month in the rain..... don't go in the rain or do but go slow. Also the run down Indian dealership would be top tier marketing trolling
@@BikesBeardsAndBrews you know that you say it a night dragon run would be interesting but not sure I wanna add rain but I will watch your video doing it 😂
Nice ride. I was fortunate enough to ride Tail of the Dragon back in July and it was a blast. As some other commenters have stated, the camera doesn’t really do the road justice and there are a lot of great riding roads in that area.
Man the camera just doesn’t do those hills justice. It also doesn’t do the drop off on one side justice either. You guys who have never ridden here please make sure you ride your own ride.
I wonder if anyone ever crashed for the photographer. Killboy was the only one I every heard of. I got to make it down that way. Maybe stay on the NC Side and ride back and forth.
The tail is definitely on the bucket list
In the fall, during the week. Much less pressure to go fast.
Make it happen! So worth it!
its really nice that they paved that road this year.....
Right?! Total upgrade!
Dam near all of the roads in and around that area are fun to ride!
Right?!? No arguments here!
Thanks for the shout out, it was awesome day ❤❤❤
No Prob thanks for coming out!
👍🤠Good one Be ..True Words as to running on weekday.. Thanks for Ride Along🤗👌
My pleasure my dude!
Heck yeah! LOL, "hipster sparks" - that's a good one! That road is on the bucket list... next time I'm down that way, I'll ride it for sure.
That is a Doyle trade mark!
Great advice and first person view, enjoy it!
Thanks my dude and thanks for watching!
Awesome video as always
Thank you kindly!
Man, I haven't been to the Dragon since 2014 and it's a beautiful area. Riding it during the week is the way to go! Great video Ben!
Time to get back up there! Iay he there in June...just saying
Fantastic ride! I think you just helped me plan my next trip.
Get it done! I may be back that way in June...
The new pavement looks great!
Oh it so is! Get back out there dude!
Your video is the first UA-cam video of trail of dragon I've ever seen. I'm sold, curves looks dope. I need to get down there and whip it. 👊
Let's go mofo! Next year, let's make it a thing!
saw both your angle and Doyles both were a good ride to watch
Excellent!! Thanks for watching!
Awesomeness 💯🤙
Hells yeah! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the Ride long! And Tell Doyle I found all your Stickers 😂😂😂
Hahaha I'll pass it along
Definitely a bucket list ride. Just not doing the Iron Butt journey you do to get down there.
Ha! I only do that because I want to be where I want to be and not waste time getting there
Great video and some real good advise for those who never ridden the Dragon. Also when I rode it.. I went 100.000. MPH.. It was a blur... LOL
Hahaha I've heard you did that, totally fact lol

You’re on point with all your tips brother. Ended up riding the dragon multiple times in both directions that week lol
Excellent my dude and glad you enjoyed the ride down there and the dragon!!

Fair enough! Take the tips on this video and you'll do great!

Just hit home up and he'll come find you!
It was awesome day fun day
Yeah it was!!

I kinda want to do it at night and in the rain, seems like that would be a huge change
@@BikesBeardsAndBrews you know that you say it a night dragon run would be interesting but not sure I wanna add rain but I will watch your video doing it 😂
I will ride the Dragon sometime this year.
Make it happen!

It sure doesn't! Even in 4k it's not good enough but it's something!
Omg! So jealous… this pavement looks really fresh and new! When we rode it in 2020 it was NOT in that good shape!!!😅
Time to get out there! Get it done!
Rode it in February... could actually see around the curves and switchbacks (no foliage)
Nice! Now if only it wasn't freezing to get there in Feb
Let’s go
We so went!
Man the camera just doesn’t do those hills justice. It also doesn’t do the drop off on one side justice either. You guys who have never ridden here please make sure you ride your own ride.
You are so right and I mention that on the moonshiner 28 vid coming soon.
🤘🤘🤘
💯🎉💯🎉
Bad ass bro
Thanks my dude!
So the $20 offer good on old pictures from two years ago when I was there? Just asking. Definitely looks smoother after they repaved it.
ohhh honestly? no idea
I wonder if anyone ever crashed for the photographer. Killboy was the only one I every heard of. I got to make it down that way. Maybe stay on the NC Side and ride back and forth.
There have been a quite a few crashes in front of the photo booths.
I mean my first time I definitely crossed way over the line while posing
maybe next year I'll hit the tail before Vamm25.
Get it done!
Harley T Shirt store... no dealerships closer than 2 hours in any direction
Yeah it's weird to me but here we are!
I make it
Yeah you did!
In my hood
Tallest from the hood
How was your shoulders after doing that a couple times ? Haha
Never had shoulder issues riding so they're good!
Lol
💯💯💯
