There was actually a method to recover your account before the bug was fixed. All you had to do was continously switch your wifi on and off while you were in the match. At some point, the game would ban you from the match because of "bad connection". Basically, if this happens in a normal match, you will not be able to play brawl stars till that match ends (usually 2 minutes). So, as soon as the round would end, so would the glitch and you could get the account back. I tried it on my mini and it worked.
delete your data and join brawl stars you dont need to uninstall it I also got stuck but Im smart left brawl stars pressed on the icon then clicked on the info of the app and deleted the data
