Simply from the sound, it's running way too rich on the top end. Seriously limits the power output. I'd love to try a few cuts with the beast- a real throwback to another era. With serious hearing protection, of course. Clutch cover sux for noodling- really needs to have the bar inclined front-to-rear, back & forth. Shortens the noodles.
You have got to love a saw that cuts on power and not speed.
