I just checked the price, and I’m honestly shocked at how low it is-it's even cheaper than wired mowers! Their tests seem really realistic, but I already have a mower!"
"I came across a wireless robot lawn mower priced at just $599, which is half the price or even less than this machine. It’s currently running a campaign on Kickstarter!
The new Kress RTK robot would work on that garden. You don't need a reference station on the property as there is a complete network already installed in the UK, and the robot will work in shadow zones under trees
@@luketanton8880 why use RTK when vSLAM exists? RTK is only good for wide open fields with no obstructions (buildings, trees, interference). Using RTK for autonomous mowers is a bad idea, using vSLAM is where the next generation of autonomous mowers lies. Hookii has one to be released this summer and I'm certain other manufacturers will be adopting it in their next generation mowers.
I can’t believe there’s such a cheap wireless robot lawn mower on Kickstarter. Is it a scam? But I watched their production video, and it might actually be legit! I’m really torn about whether to buy one now.
@@sonnyboy1460 You can get a decent wire-guided robot for about $1,000 all-in, but you have to install the wires yourself. I'd love one, but I have a fence and driveway that would really get in the way. I'm waiting for the GPS mowers to get down to about $1,000.
the demand for batteries after oil runs out , could make all cordless equipment beyond the reach of the DIY er , forget this and buy a reel push mower you'll be fitter
LED matrix is clever, if the front lights don't do a KITT style sweep it's game over though.
It actually does. =)
My 90 year old Dad needs one of these. The front small lawn is 400m2.😊
That Looks cool 😎😎 seeing the instillation will be good Thanks again
Am I the only one not happy that we never got to see the machine run
That will be in a future video very soon. Unfortunately the weather is hindering us massively 😕
A lot of better products on the market. Can go right down your little covered pathway without issue.

I noticed that too! Could it really be true?
Does anyone have any experience with the smallest Sthil RMI422? Any good for a small yard?

Any chance of doing a test on the new battery stihl mowers, rma 453, rma 448 etc ?
They are on the todo list 😉🤩

Video of the test soon?
Is that $599 price on Kickstarter really for a wireless robot lawn mower?

No wants a wired system.
Looks like a great mower, but the whole robo-mower industry is currently too expensive and fiddly for most consumers.
Seriously lol you can buy a zero turn rider for this price
These should be $600-$1000 max

How’s that extra chromosome treating you?
@4:00 You lost me.
Not interested in a wired mower.
