I'm Daring Do's Father. Yes, Nicole Oliver did come down to comfort her. Our daughter is autistic and MLP is one of her few outlets so I HAD to take her to EFNW. Celestia is her hero. You can't see it but she brought a plush Celesita that she had been working on for the past three months in the hope that Nicole Oliver would be there. She signed it for her. I told my wife what happened and we shed a few tears at Nicole Oliver's moment of compassion. I can't thank her enough.
Well I love her to death but I kinda thought when Andrea refused to answer the question about if they were approached to sing first or approached for the speaking part first was kinda rude. I thought it was a very sensible question to ask. Again, I love her to death but I kinda thought that question deserved a reasonable answer.
I love how the camera followed Daring Do as she broke down into tears, and then turned back to panel and Nicole Oliver was GONE! Just like that! In a SNAP! She must've been all... "My motherly instincts are tingling! AWAAAAAAY!!!" *FWOOSH* What a hero!
I was talking to that Daring Do girl in line before the panel; she seemed very timid, and it was so amazing when I saw Nicole Oliver get up straight away to go comfort her. "Hero" is an understatement.
Rebecca Shoichet, Kazumi Evans and Shannnon Chan-Kent were part of previous MLP incarnations and are talented voice actors and singers in their own right. Tabitha, Nicole and Andrea have all done musical theatre once upon a time.
Tell your daughter that she was very brave to stand up there in front of all those people. I've seen people much older have the same kind of reaction to asking questions of the voice actors, she should know that too.
I still remember you telling me that story. Legit cried as I walked back to my dealer's hall. It's stories like that which make this community so amazing. Side note, hope your daughter made good use of that poster I gave her!
We haven't picked out places in her room for all of her new posters, but I'm sure we shall find locations for them all. Those G3 posters have got to go. I’m the same as Tabitha - I adopt the accent/dialect of where I am all the time.. the only language I’ve got locked is my Danish (cuz it’s my native tongue) - I speak Lollandsk, cuz I’m from the island Lolland, south of Sealand (Sjælland), where the capital Copenhagen is 😊
I just want to thank u. my little pony helped me get through bullying and school in general I have epilepsy so it also helped me with that and being able to relate to fluttershy who is shy I was very shy and now I am still shy but not as bad I know when to stand up for myself and my friends

Know what made this more enjoyable than other panels? The VA's had more freedom to just screw around. Their interaction with Final Draft and the audience (wish I could hear em though) gave me more laughs than the same fifteen questions they've answered too many times. I liked it more, and I bet they did too. Need more panels like this.
