Hard to believe this game is 6 years old. Still has the best gunplay and sound engineering out there.
na rising storm2 vietnam is way better and i say that having 4 to 5 hundred hours in each game
@@giftzwerg7345 Rising Storm 2 is a fantastic game, but Sandstorm is definitely a bit better (if not mostly because it's a newer game with a far better engine). I also have roughly the same hours in both games, lol.

Insurgency Sandstorm is my go to FPS game. It's a casual experience with fast ttk, amazing gunplay and sound, nice gun animations and mechanics. A lot of guns and a lot of gun customization. It is missing something, I can't really tell what that is that's why it never became super popular. But for my liking, there is no other casual FPS that comes close to Sandstorm.
Really wish it had better bots
It's missing progression and regular enough content. The lack of progression doesn't take anything away from the core gameplay but could've kept many players on the game for the grind.
@@danheskia3987Exactly, its a problem with all the tactical games (except Tarkov which imo why its so successful despite all of its problems). Ready or Not, ground branch, zero hour, even hunt showdown has the sams problem( where you only progress by unlocking weapons and gadgets again and again with nothing to unlock except for those)
me and my buddys are the reason there is still a server in OCE we will que upto 2 hours just to get a game going, we love this game to much to let it die, i agree with everything u said its amazing game
@@n3rgal166 For real. The early to mid wipe RPG like progression of Tarkov is what keeps players coming back even though they profess to hate the game.

I thought they stopped dev? Either way I hope it's still getting updates, I'd like an extraction mode since the gameplay fits the style.
Pretty sure they did stop development for a while because their team got cut down and their budget was cut a shit ton but they are still there

Survival in Co-op or ambush in Versus are extraction type modes
Survival is the most “extraction” type

Sandstorm is hitscan out to a certain distance then becomes projectile based. If you ever wanna hop on domination i will be there
needs more game modes. Its repetitive just running around between the same points, either in order, or random order, for the last 5+ years
i really want to see a larger map with multiple points and more players with some more cars or trucks

This game is still my fav & with what they have been saying over on X, I can't wait to get back into this game because it was & still is in my opinion one of the best hardcore gunplay play on the market but lacks players, if only they knew how good this is....

I think the game is good but they should rework the terrain in their maps. It mostly looks very low detail imo. I think they could improve their texture variety and add some photogrammetry scan models to improve the look of their game... And maybe add improved weather effects like deep snow etc.

I used to play this game, a lot on Xbox one. It was very fun, short TTK, voip. Work together. The only things that bothered the hell out of me was a terrible team who didn’t voip. And losing. After wards I bought a PC, played War Thunder, played Tarkov, got pissed back to WT, then back to Tarkov, got pissed again. Lol then downloaded Hell Let loose and Insurgency for PC. Insurgency def has the best gameplay for pvp in my opinion.

Bro bullets still dont register 100% of the time i emptied 4 shots into someone point blank with shotgun using flechet rounds and nothing happend yet i get killed with one bullet😂😂 shity but good game

Ai aimbot nope. This game AI is like fighting robots with laser beams. Very unrealistic and just bothers me to play as a veteran. When will these devs and call of duty players get it....
When bullets are coming at you.... youre not going to stand there, and exchange fire ( at least no civilian or rebel fighter) people duck and run, they also pray and spray.... they dont hit you with an AK 400 meters out killing you by hitting your toe or elbow. When ordancne is dropped on you.... youre not continuing your assault as a rebel... llol your ducking for cover not standing out in the opening geting head shots. lol.

Sounds are literally ripped from the first game and day of imfamy which is a ww2 game, for me its a real turn off.
I have many complaints about Sandstorm, but the sounds definitely aren't ripped. Take it from someone with way too many hours on both Insurgency games.
I doubt it. The game is dead. Matchmaking on ps5 are least takes a good 2-3 mins to find a match

@bigtimediamond1088 Ima be honest. I wasn't looking for a game of this style, so that was one aspect. Also, it seemed unfinished, and I just had a REALY BAD time playing. It's most likely just an unfortunate type of thing. Im just hating dawg :|
