AD333 great balls.
I've settled on the Q Star - Excellent spin and control for pitching and chipping around the greens. :)
Ad333 and Qstar tour both perfect for my game and Budget
Great video to compare the different ball types.
I currently use Titleist Tru Feel wondering how the Srixon soft feel might compare ?
They're going to be very similar balls from each brand, both prioritising soft feel. Spin and performance should be fairly similar, not up there with the premium balls, but great options for the value, I think if anything Soft Feel is ever so slightly cheaper
Z star divide, good feel and performance,
How much of the spin difference applies for slow swing speeds?
The same patterns will still apply. Greenside/approach play spin etc comes from the cover and outer layers as they're the shorter shots with much slower swing speeds anyway. The more speed you put in, your quality of strike and angle of attack will all affect just how much spin you get, but the trend where the premium ball will get more spin than a more budget ball will still be there
QStar divide. Got some at great price for winter golf. Matt finish is great as i used to be one round and out but these have no marks after 2 or 3
Distance balls for me, been using them for a while. I lose a lot of balls 🤣🤣
Whatever happened to the q star standard? I used to play them all the time.
Good question, I think the gaps between models must've got a bit too tight, it would've been competing with the ever-popular AD333 etc rather than the Tour that sits nicely between that budget and premium range
@@GolfShopOnline I believe the AD333 is the UK name for what is known as the Q Star Standard in the US.
Is ad333 better than softfeel
Performance is fairly similar but it's definitely the more popular choice. The biggest difference is feel, AD333 is not crazy firm but, as the name suggests, not as soft as the soft feel. This doesn't really affect performance but is something to potentially consider
I haven't noticed much (if any) in the way performance difference between the "Distance" balls and the "AD333's".
That's great, if they're both giving you similar feels and results then stick with the distance
@@GolfShopOnline I will however be trying the Q Star tour "Divide's" at some stage. My home course's fairways have already started to fill with daisies, making white balls very difficult for me to see. I imagine that the red/yellow combination will be the easiest to see. I hate losing balls on the fairway. Long rough, I can deal with. Losing a ball on the fairway hurts deep down in the soul.
There's nothing worse and it happens too often when the courses are so wet this time of year 😓
As I gain more experience in the game, I've graduated from the 2 piece ionomer to q star tour.. finally settling down with the z star.. ,soft and tactile off my odyssey, respectable distances, I want to be certain that if i hit an approach shot from 140 yards in, that it will drop and stop. and my z stars do that impeccably . thank you Srixon,!!!!
I'm sold.. does everything i want it to.
Absolutely no need to change at this point, I'm killing it.
Glad to hear it, they're a great premium ball at a better price than a lot of its premium competitors
Stop at Q star tour, that is your oremium ball.
