@@saveyourfamily.duolingo depends on what computer you have! If you have a old one, it will do fine but get your computer really hot, and with new ones it dosent make it as hot
Also it won’t really do anything if your not playing it so don’t worry about that

When I have my pc later, I will definitely come back to this tutorial and install things because with no cc you always try to make sims look aesthetic and they always look terrible. Thank god u told us about the tray files i went 6 months with so many mods/cc that wouldn’t show up just to find out i had to switch locations for certain files. (Tray files look so different than regular files)

Heyy, I have the Mac book air (2017). I have a mod downloaded and went through all the steps but it’s not in my sims game. Any help? (My settings and etc are fixed as well)
And it’ll say something about a application being downloaded on this Mac for it to be able to open

I download the cc and put it in the mods folder because I had no other folders for cc and I have have checked my cc / mods but it says I have nothing

When you add in a household that you downloaded, do you grab in the entire folder into the mods or do you add each one from the previous folder in one by one?
I put the whole folder in a another called “download sims” cause it’s easier for me

Both settings are enabled. I applied changes. Closed sims 4. Put 3 CC mods into the mod folder. Opened sims 4 up. It says there are the 3 mods but when i go into one of my words , the new furniture I downloaded is not there!!!! Please help. The settings are on, I've closed sims and opened it. I just can't find it anywhere in the game

Hello! I recently resumed my old habit of playing the Sims and I am fairly new to what's going on in the Sims 4. When it comes to building, what are certain build mods you recommend? Ideally, I hate when placing certain objects like posters/clutter it must be at the "standard" or "recommeded" space the game tells you to drop it off at. I like to place my clutter/posters/ etc. anywhere I want to at a certain angle and spot of the grid. Is there a mod that will allow you to do that? I've seen plenty Simmers on YT that would do it when building.
So in game you can open a tab by clicking “control + shift + c” and type bb.moveobjects on. You should be allowed to move objects anywhere and on-top of eachother without restriction. I’m also not much of a builder myself so hopefully more people comment their helpful building tips.
you can download the tool mod which lets you do a bunch of cool stuff while building like freely rotating things, or in game you can press f5 for more grid slotting or hold alt to rotate and place things without it snapping to the grid :)
If you want even more freedom, after using the move objects cheat, when moving an object, hold alt down until you placed it where you want.
