You are truly a blessing. Thanks so much for sharing your God given creative talents. Your tutorials are wonderful. You make people feel comfortable watching your videos, its like watching a close friend. Thank you - with appreciation. Beautiful boxes and tips. Love the corner miter - a great tool.
WOW 🤩 WOW 🤩 WOW 🤩 Ann these boxes are really really awesome and amazing too. You are so very very clever and talented too. I really really love ❤️ this. Thank you so much Ann. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Your tutorial us amazing! It is very clear and made me realize that I could make these as treasure cheats for my grandchildren. Thank you for such an excellent tutorial!
Thank you for sharing your fabric covered boxes. I'm very interested in learning more. I really enjoy making boxes of all kinds. I love watching your tutorials, as you are so easy to listen to and very thorough.
Happy you are learning from Claudia, you should join her club if you have not joined her now because there is a retreat coming and if you are a member you do not pay for it. Very interesting . I have been with her now over 4 years I was still with stampin up . You will learn a lot. I have done a tool box where all my tool are . The little orange ruler are good when you do your spacing it helps a lot. . Your box is very well done for a beginner , I knew you would love her. . Thank you for sharing.
Love this box using material. Your creativity never stops. Like I said before, you are the best. Stay safe sweetie and I am so happy the move is in progress finally.
Beautiful box! I am a huge fan of Claudia at Colorway Arts and I have made many boxes using her cartonnage technique. Her technique is different in that you cover the insides of the box first, build the box, then cover the outside as you showed; others build the box first, then cover the inside and outside. I prefer Claudia’s method. She sells DIY kits on her website with the chipboard pieces already cut. And, since you are a paper lover, you can do the same technique with paper, only difference is that you don’t need to do the taping.
Hi Ann....you always pick the most beautiful papers and fabrics and I always love how bright and cheery they are! I adore these boxes which is something that is not only 'oh so pretty', but also functional, and us crafters can ALWAYS use storage ideas! I'm not the best with my hands (arthritis), but I'm going to give this a go! Thank you for the education and inspiration and I hope to see more. Take care, dear
I'm still so amazed that you turn out such amazing projects when you have most of your supplies boxed up. It is so very impressive! This box is beautiful and you're right, it looks like something you'd buy from a store. 🤩🤩🤩
I'd got an idea to use that box in a bookshelf! Like a box to hide with our other books. Standing with the back out, if you understand how I mean? Then it can be used to store things in to hide from other family members or burglars or whatever... Thanks for your so informative videos!!! And sorry for my crappy english, I'm Swedish so english isn't my native language but I hope you understand me anyway 😽 Hugs from Sweden 🇸🇪
Hi Ann wow another fantastic video , what a super gift box and I love the fact it's made with a fabric covering too how cool is that and it looks amazing X yes please more box videos and Note books please XXX
One year my friend and I had this crazy idea of making tissue box covers to sell. They really did turn out nicely. Couldn't sell one of them but, they were very nice. We used left over cardboard box scraps back then. Chipboard was not heard of in our crafting circuit at that time. (1980"s) What we did discover for placing the fabric onto the cardboard was using fabric stiffner/stablizer that you could iron on. (Buy in fabric department.) It's made to be ironed on both sides. Once you iron it onto the fabric you then ironed it onto the cardboard. It sticks very well. Nice, flat and smooth. This is just an idea for those that might want to try this method instead of glue. This is good for this those that have arthritis. Because squeezing the glue is painful. I love your video's. You're boxes are amazing! We are a family that have "a thing" for boxes. Thank for taking time to do these.
These boxes are very pretty! I’ve seen several of your videos and find myself glued (☺️) to the video! I am an American and knew there was some type of miter tool, but it didn’t look that nice! I will definitely invest in one! It does make your boxes look nice and neat! I love Christmas and have thought about trying fabric to cover boxes, but worries about not being able to get the creases out. Yours look im”press”ive! ☺️ Sorry! Couldn’t resist. Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you so much Sweet Ann !! I have some Beautiful Fabrics and I will save class and make some gifts ..Your such a wonderful blessing and I hope that you have a Beautiful Blessed Day!!
I have just found Claudia from Colorway Arts, I want to get some of her Kits, and tools. Your Crafts are so wonderful, and beautiful when you finish. I love watching, keep it up! ❤👍
Great boxes Anne it could hold my remotes over the Christmas period and look very festive on my coffee table ,TFS huni looking forward to more , hugs Katie 💝
Wowza! Fantastic box . Such a beautiful idea. I love the magic that you do. You are just so amazing and wonderful Ann. Can’t wait for the tutorial, Thank you for sharing your talent and your beautiful soul with us.❤️💐
Finally another use for all those tons of fabrics I have in the spare bedroom!!! Of course that means I’ll make more room for other goodies..(insert wicked chuckle)!😈
Beautiful, Ann! I have done boxes with fabric but, the way you covered this box is different than I do and probably better! I have only done exploding boxes. I use chipboard, not paper for exploding boxes. I would love it if you would show how you make one! I never saw a video on the ones I did, I just came up with my own way. I love this as well! I will be trying this one. Thank you so much for sharing! 🤗❤️🤗
Hello Ann, Wow ! You keep on coming up with these stunning projects and show everyone what crafting is all about. Amazing stuff, love it ! Thankyou for sharing even while you are still waiting to move.
You did a wonderful job. Not sure I have the patience to make it, though. Lol. I would think lots of people would like to receive it as a gift and it can be so personalized with different materials. TFS
Hi Anne, great idea, love it! A lifetime ago I used to personalise Photo Album's using fabric and I used to glue the fabric down with Spray Adhesive, worked wonders, a time saver for sure... Julie
So pretty and looks a lot better than store bought because of the care involved when putting it together. I tried to cover chipboard with fabric a couple weeks ago. It was a mess. I tried using a fabric glue. I’m out of chipboard and I don’t have pva glue or I would give it another shot today. Love, Love, Love It!!!
Ann it’s gorgeous and again so unique. I love it. It is time consuming but it’s just waiting for it to dry. So very pretty. I’ve always wondered what fabric would be like to use on a chipboard base. I think it’s much more forgiving and you don’t have to worry about it cracking. Another great gift idea. Thank you Ann! Xoxo Denise
I do like you branching out into fabric crafts as well. I would love to see you insert the divider in the box. I would also like to see simple crafts with your sewing machine. I bought one intending to take a class but the best one on one class was in another city, so that didn’t work out.
Great idea with the fabric, and yes that miter tool I've bought mines when she first had them out. It's the best yet to miter all corners, love it when I do my albums with. TFS Ann, this will surely inspire all your followers to try and make them for the upcoming holidays!
This is a great idea! Thank you!! I will definitely be making some boxes like this. My grandsons are really into superheroes. I have some great fabric that would make adorable boxes. I can’t wait to get started. TFS! 🤗🤗
Great Christmas box! I actually like it without the divider. Love all the boxes you make. How about a two or three piece box set that makes a snowman? That would be fun. Thanks for another great project! 🤗
You are so smart. Couldn't imagine figuring that out. Wonderful result. Thank You for sharing.
Ann you’ve outdone yourself once again. You never cease to amaze me. 🌈👍
Great tutorial! I found Colorway Arts a couple of months ago. I just got all of her tools. I signed up for her free workshop in March. Thanks, Ann!

Love the boxes you should think about putting a closure on the out side to keep it closed when carrying it.
Great tutorial and please do more. So much neater and easier than paper.
Thank you! Will do!
I laminated fabric on one side using the technique I learned from you. It works wonderfully and you can cover chipboard with it just like paper.
Wonderful!
