- Hey Babyz! Back in January 2023, the official Bratz Instagram page surveyed fans to gauge interest in a Bratz Babyz reboot. News on a Babyz reboot had been static up until last June when a Target inventory listing for Babyz Cloe popped up, which indicated that a Bratz Babyz reboot was on the way. It would be another six months-three weeks ago, to be exact-that another update about the Babyz reboot would come. Amazon listings for the core four Babyz were posted early-to-mid December, followed by stock pictures just a little over a week later. Twenty years after their initial launch and fifteen after their discontinuation, the Bratz Babyz are back on the market and to their roots!
The Bratz team at MGA Entertainment was kind enough to send me the full set of the Bratz Babyz 2024 reproductions, which are a near-exact replica of the very-first Babyz line from 2004! Join me in unboxing and reviewing the latest Bratz Babyz, as well as discuss what the future of Babyz could hold!

The Sanrio/Bratz collab is literally my dream for Bratz omfg. I really hope these sell well and we eventually get the Big Babyz or just more characters like the Twiinz.

You wanna know what’s crazy? I bought a huge lot of 30 bratz babies on Jan 1st 2023, including the original 4! And 1 year later exactly they come out again.. crazy I love the comeback

i knew something felt different about the chain, but i didn't know what until this video! i personally think the ball chain is more true to the original, and would've been cheaper, so idk why they changed it
Ah, 20 years already, I feel old, I actually had the original Bratz Babyz Chloe and Jade, my sister had Yasmin and Sasha, I had some of the big ones too, still regret getting rid of my childhood collection to this day, I cry when I think about it too much, the fact that they were in really good condition too stings, even as a child, I always really took good care of my dolls

i think these were easier to remake, which is why they turned out super well, not that any of the remakes have been bad imo. i also understand leaving out the little bag accessory for price point, and as a european i can honestly say it's been more than 10 years since i've been able to buy a bratz baby for a good price... if they start to reproduce the babyz with hair my life will be complete
heavily agree on re-introducing characters through Babyz! would love to see my sister Raya get her redemption arc lol.
The Sanrio collab is a great idea too ugh the possibilities for Bratz as a brand are so fun to think about
Buyer beware! The silver paint on their baby bottles rubs off and stains their skin!!
Honestly, I think Babyz deserves more appreciation cuz they are ADORABLE and I'm really happy to have them back but, hear me out, what about Kidz repro 👀 I LOVE Kidz and would be so cool them get them back as well!
I like the Babyz with plastic hair too, the rooted hair makes them look like… not babies.
It would be so cute if they came out with fashion packs and maybe a little house for them. I love to display my dolls in houses

I heard a lot of people who ordered Jade have been getting Yasmin instead, so hopefully it’s for the best and they’re fixing the situation!
Always wanted one of the Bratz Babyz as a kid but never got one-gonna be keeping an eye out for these girls, they're so cute! Now just to figure out which one to get. Might look into getting the older girls too, I love all the reproductions MGA is putting out! Gives people who missed out as kids a chance to get the dolls they always wanted at retail.
when I was 13 I had to move from my country and leave all my toys behind, I always wanted to get my baby Jazmin back and im so happy they made a comeback, yesterday i purchased my doll on amazon and I am so exited to get it!!!!. I hope the styling Heads make a comeback too, I loved my bratz head

I’m so excited about this!! I used to have a big babyz Yasmin that one of my older cousins gave me when I was younger (she was a huge bratz collector) and I gave her away when I moved states, I currently have a regular babyz jade with rooted hair that I thrifted a couple months back so I’m probably gonna get Yasmin and Jade for the comparisons

I had the original Bratz Babyz as a kid and I was kinda sad they didn't come with their diaper bags I used them for my barbies' babies when I was little 🤣 but also I've noticed the flocking on the new babyz pets is different I had my bratz babyz and all of their accessories until I (stupidly) gave them away when I was 17 Im only 23 now so I remember them pretty vividly and I have 2 of the 2024 babyz so far and have for only 2 days and their pets "fur" is already coming off and it does easily, probably due to the fact my 1 year old had them in her mouth for a second 😅- but still I had my last ones from the time they came out til 2017 and their flocking NEVER started peeling they survived through my childhood dog trying to chew one of them up as a puppy even so Idk that was a little disappointing other than that I love them so much ❤
My sister had Bratz big baby Jade; and I had Bratz big baby Yasmin. I remember because I used to play with her birth certificate and pour water in her boot and use it as a cup (weird ik).

edit: I agree with you about the hair! I love that I don't need to worry about styling hair and they look so adorable with their pop-off pigtails.

btw just a quick question, every bratz reproduction since 2021 and the new ones come with nylon hair? and do you recommend use the hair wash tutorial for the kylie doll you recently uploaded for every bratz? (idk which cases I should use another method or do the boil wash)

My parents were never big fans of full-sized Bratz so I only had 2 (Forever Diamondz Cloe who I BEGGED for, and Back to School Phoebe, who I got on clearance at Target for like $6). I remember when the babyz came out, and I was absolutely obsessed. I begged and begged my parents to let me buy them with my own money, and eventually, they gave in, on the basis that the babyz didn't have the same qualities they disliked in the main line. 1st Edition Cloe was my first, and I still have her to this day. I had quite a few of the playsets, Meygan, Yasmin, Sasha, Phoebe and Roxxi, and even the Cloe miuchiz (another treasure I still have). My mom was notorious for donating my toys to goodwill while I was at school, and I assume that's the fate everyone except Cloe met, because I would have never parted with these dolls voluntarily. I genuinely teared up when I saw the core 4 were coming back, and I plan to get them all asap. I'm praying the line does well enough that they bring back the twiins; I'd lose my mind if I could (affordably) have my girls back again. Thank you so much for this review; it'll have to tide me over until I can get my hands on them myself! I loved that you were so thorough & showed everything. My inner child is healing
