Good tier list, thanks! I think rubick do not belongs to S tier though, too situational for this meta (at least at my 3k mmr solo queue). big fan of the hero, but because of the blind picking nature of 4 cant really put him in A, let alone S.
What makes Windranger grief while Hoodwink is S-tier when they share 90% of abilities? Guessing the acorn shot with slow/aoe makes a big difference late game as hinted at 3:13? Sorry if it's a stupid question, trying to learn Dota and have had fun playing position 4 and 5 with Hoodwink so far.
It's basically the reliability of the stun, it being aoe, and the fact that the Hoodwink ult is a break and burst damage. Hoodwink also clears creep waves with spells where power shot is not enough to clear a wave. Bottom line though, landing two hero shackles doesn't happen too often where hitting two heroes with bushwhack happens a lot
Ever since hitting divine I’ve been way less annoyed by Nyx than I used to be. He definitely feels like a pub star hero that gets worse as you climb, cause it’s easier to ward against him and punish his assassination attempts. Also, I had a guy pick Tide 4 with my LC offlane yesterday and it felt really nice, having a pos 4 hero that can sit in front and tank Spells so LC can initiate with duel from fog properly.
Nyx really is a very all in hero that requires people to be coordinated and on point with preemptive sentries which just gets better as you go up in mmr. The thing is the more people play as a team the more he becomes less about solo pick offs and more about deleting people in a fight or gank while backed up by his team. And yeah a lot of offlaners can be picked as 4s these days, especially if they can survive on like blink shard or something similar.
No, it could work just like you can play mars as a support. If you have stuns and stuff you can probably play it as a support even if it's not great. In some ways, almost every hero could be a support.

Clock, Spirit breaker, Omni, Magnus, personally like Beast master, Dawnbreaker, pudge, tiny, tusk, undying, saw sven couple of times.
Spirit breaker or tiny would be really good.
