- Ramesh , a 32 year assistant director who is in deep financial trouble is forced by his wife to change course of his profession or at least leave his director Raam , a legendary director , to whom he is devoted to. He refuses to do so and vigorously fight with his wife for that fact.
Ramesh seeks moral support from his friend sathish, who knows all the issues in ramesh’s life. Sathish scolds Ramesh for the state he is in and blames him for his current situation. He urges him to first move on and do a film which he had planned long back and which is worth of being a classic. He advises him to first care for his family more than anything.
Ramesh then seeks financial support from Babu , a production manager. Babu yells at Ramesh saying , for the talent he has , he should have done a bunch of films as of then. But he is attached to the director emotionally and losing all his gateways. He then says that he would help him to get into a better financial position if he agrees to join the director he says and also gives a word of breaking his jinx into the industry and get his first film chance. Ramesh after a lot of hesitation agrees to move on.
Ramesh wanted to meet his director and confess his situation and let him know that he is moving on. When he meets his director to say the above , raam confesses that he has decided to sell his piece of land to help Ramesh to make his first film. He also confesses that family is more important than anything , and because of being like how Ramesh is now , he lost his family and happiness. He asks Ramesh to carry his legacy forward and also lends his support throughout.

We can understand that still there are many Filmmakers who does not get chance, and even they lose their Life cycle because of this....but unless we get a chance, we cannot prove.......We feel better to have entered BOFTA,

Very good acting and great cast/locations, dialogue and emotions are shown. I also read the short story. It's a very good adaptation, with a happy ending. Good team work. On the improvement side: Couple of dialogues were not dubbed but can see actor delivering it. Such as "Itho varaen" dialogue when his friend says just before he approaches to his shirt to get 100 rupees. I felt music were too loud. I am not sure if others feel the same way. Title roll credit were not center aligned. Overall it's a great short film. Congrats team.
