As a Gorkhali I can confirm we are combatantly somewhat more experienced in hilly and mountainous areas than other Regiment but what I feel is that Sikhs Regiment holds the title for the most agile and hardcore warriors. They r the real fighter who fought first nd second world war nd maximum Victoria cross award. In Nala pani in Pithoragarh war between Gorkha nd Britishes continued for week.Only 71 Gorkha nd their lady wife's had survived nd taken shelter in hill caves which was surrounded by Britishes.After one week all troops came out from caves carring Khukuri on hand nd drank water from small stream called Nala Pani.From vary day British govt realised nd accepted their bravery nd very soon British govt included Gorkha troops in their army.Till date they hav preserved this sanctity nd even Brunei govt has Gorkha soldier's in their Army.

@@JM-pr3my Gurkhas were weak & starved to death due to lack of medical supplies and all cause the Sikh closed the supply routes for them. Then Sikhs used superior artillery and cannons against the Gurkhas to make a heavy loss and casualties where as Gurkhas just had bows and arrows not well equipped like Sikhs . The Gurkhas fought intrepidly. If Prithvi Narayan Shah was the leader it would have been a different story for Sikhs. 6 feet height is useless in war my friend they can’t survive jungle wars. However, It were the gurkhas who exhausted ammunition and killed thousands of Sikhs in Jallianwala Bagh. Therefore Gurkhas and Sikhs are allies

The commander got angry on the others and said angrily "what's there to fear, you jump and deploy your parachute. " The gorkhas who had raised their hands said " Sir, parachute bhi milega kya!!?
