  • This is me preparing for my first retire after being loc’d for 4 weeks! In this video I’ll show you my wash routine that keeps braids from slipping out. In the next video I’ll show you how long they’ve grown and what they look like after the first retie! My hair was 3” when I first loc’d them so I’m super excited to see the growth!
After years of adding chemicals and protective styles to my hair I’ve finally said enough is enough! Well actually my hair made that choice for me. I think I suffer from what they call traction alopecia on these edges of mine cause they gone gone. I decided to loc my hair after doing extensive research and loving the results I’ve seen with other women. Plus they are so cute!
Come on this journey with me and see the results along the way! I’ll update you all at least every month so follow, like, comment, subscribe and share with someone you think would be interested!

I just started my mirco loc journey and the stylist said not to wet my hair or dye mine! I’m 4 1/2 weeks in and had my first retie and the dry shampoo my hair so every salon is different

Yeah your Loctition is right because I had so much slippage in the first 5 months! Thanks for your comment. I’ve been doing a lot better now that it’s grown out but it would have locked a lot sooner had I only washed it about once a month.
