So happy this tutorial is finally up! I purchased this kit a while ago but was so confused by the instructions that it’s just been sitting untouched… I can finally make this cow!
Advanced expert crocheter here....theres a slight error in round 9 for the head...it says to sc 11 tumes then [2sc, sc in next] 6 times and then sc 14....however if you count the physical stitches, it's off by 1. needs to be either sc10 at the beginning or sc 13 at the end in order to fully complete the 6th [2sc, sc in next]. the total stitch count for this row should be 42 round 11 also has an error. it should be sc 18 at the end not sc 13. doing only 13 leaves 5 unworked stitches. the total count on this row should be 48.
Respectfully, I found no issues with round 11. After ' [inc, sc in next 2 sts] 5 times, inc ' I did have exactly 13 stiches left to sc in. I took it out and re-did the round another 2 times just to be sure, and it came out correctly. However, I am a beginner so I could be missing something completely 😅
It is very frustrating to buy products from you guys, when you guys know there are errors in the instructions. It’s very upsetting that you guys made this tutorial video which clearly did help out because you guys didn’t show the full process. But my main issue is the instructions, it’s also terrible that many people asked help about the error instead of helping you guys said to referred to the instructions and that’s where the error is.
To anyone who thinks this tutorial is a bad tutorial and it’s too fast and are hating and other stuff like that maybe crocheting isn’t for you maybe you might wanna try a different hobby if you can’t crochet then why are you wasting your time doing this ?
What’s the point of marking a tutorial video of your not going to show us how to do the head I have no idea how to do rnd 9 and you just skipped to the body I’m reporting this video and giving it a thumbs down
hi there, i know you posted this months ago, but i can help with round 9. there is an error in the stitches. you can shorten the beginning by 1 so that you single crochet 10 and then [ 2 single crochet, 1 single crochet in the next] 6 times, single crochet 14. you should end with 42 stitches total and no extra stitches the need to be worked 😊
Please explain, i know people are going to come after me and say this might not be for you try something else, but i didn’t just waist my money on this just to not know AT ALL what’s she means
Just a tip for the future ! Maybe going through the whole tutorial would be great, only starting and then telling us to refer to the instructions really causes a lot of room for error for people who don’t exactly understand how to read the instructions such as myself I have started the body three times because I am confused on where you leave from the magic circle to the full body.
Not sure which part of this that you're struggling with, but read all of the instructions, especially the abbreviations to fully understand the shorthand.
@@FabricEditions I am struggling on this step as well. To get the 43 stitches, you need 37 stitches from the previous round but round 8 only has 36 stitches. Can you please help?
@@FabricEditionsthe instructions has a error, why hasn’t this error been fix yet when people purchasing this. It is frustrating. You guys should be able tell us how to fix the error instead of telling us to look at the instructions when people keep telling you guys there are errors.
@@FabricEditions The complete disregard to this is an issue and looks bad on your brand. This error is mentioned several times in the comments and its completely ignored. Thank goodness I came to this video and read the comments to learn how to fix the error. For something people are spending money on though, we shouldn't need to look in the comments. Mistakes are okay, but when they are blatantly pointed out to you several times and you still don't fix it, it gives off a poor image. Telling us to just "read all of the instructions" on something that is wrong, does not help. Do better.
