The “Call in a chopper I’m being cockblocked” was hilarious, got me good.
My favorite in the episode, honestly. Took me out.😂
Lol basic NPC humor 😂
@IAMYAMAMA That's what an NPC would say.🤣
@@temphill4527Hmmm yes… and the general Ai be like👀😎😼
Normies humor
The first Unity episode was my favorite. I'm so glad to see you brought her back! Bringing in Dr. Wong to do couple's therapy between Rick and Unity was absolutely genius.
I like Rick is evolving but I do want him to have some episode where he backsides into some insanity😂
I was also really happy to see unity!
That episode was great. The ending of this one wasn't as impactful as previous one but still nice seeing Rick sharing a beer with President.
Honestly I didn't expect to see her again. I like that she's voiced by Christina Hendricks.
During the episode, I didn't understand why Rick didn't want the president to date his therapist. Watching this and realizing that Rick and the President are actually friends made me go "Ohhhhh! Okay, I get it now."
I thought it was because Rick wouldn't want the president to have access to someone with private information about Rick.
So it's a bro code thing ?
@@GarbageMan-pd5cythat makes more sense
Rick and the President are definitely frenemies at this point. I really liked that they shared a cold one at the end of the episode.
More like rivals
Surprise they don't mention Unity at all here, probably one of the most depressing episode in the series. Seeing her again shows a good contrast to how far Rick have come to be a better person, albeit slowly
I think it's not the most depressing. Last time Rick wanted to kill himself. This time he went to drink with a friend/friendly rival. Listened to the messages he ignored to hear what they were actually saying. It's bittersweet, he's better but not good enough yet.
@@DamZ1428 oh I meant the episode where Unity made her first appearance was most depressing
I know people are saying that Morty sounds better than Rick but after watching all the episodes I’d say Rick is more spot on
Almost. The new VA is doing a good job but he still misses when shouting and barfing 🤣 like old episodes
Voices are practically identical. But writing seems to get worse this season. Which is a shame because Season 6 had some of the best writing in the series.
@@Botar48agreed. Writing is a little weird, but giving a pass due to the circumstances.
Still better than most shows.
@@RealKimJungUn I have hope since they had bangers like Rick's first thought being shooting himself after being in Jerry's body for a second. But it remains to be seen. I hope it gets better in later episodes.
@biswasbudhathoki8144 and the burping hasn't burped once while he talks which was a big part of his drunken personality..not once has he burped
I really love that you're bringing old characters back. I wish there was more from Unity but I loved to see her, the president and Wong on the same ep!
I think this episode would've made a fantastic premiere. I really liked this one
Rick didn’t get enough credit for respecting the boundaries Unity set up between them, and Unity low key didn’t have the right to come to his planet. I think Wong dropped the ball, Unity thinks she’s a martyr now when she isn’t, and Summer was kind of right in the other episode to not like her. Rick did not want to interact with her and he doesn’t owe Unity updates on his life. That said, still loved the episode!
thank you, the authors really framed the entire thing on rick just to showcase his growth at the end disregarding that most of it was unity's fault but nah look how he took it like a champ this time instead of trying to off himself see? progress!!!
It does a disservice to the message about respecting boundaries...
The premiere was a bit of a dud, but everything after that has been great so far. Really looking forward to the rest.
Not as great as previous seasons for me. Hope it gets better.
It's definitely better than last season So far for me.
I only liked this episode. The 1st 2 weren't that great
It nice right now, but I can't help but notice something: we have 3 epusodes right now and Morty don't seem to do anything. Like in the past seasons it was Rick AND Morty's adventures, but now it feel like it only Rick's adventures.
it's like through out this season Rick is trying to be a better person and with the New Voice Actor for Rick it makes all the more better
That was my thought as first as his voice is much more restrained, but for some reason, his voice was distracting to me in the first half of this episode. In the previous two episodes, there were only a few moments where I noticed. Luckily, by the end of the episode, I was noticing less, but his voice (and even Morty's with his brief screen time) still seemed too subdued...too tight.
@@Panaceamediayea it's really missing the delivery of lines that made Rick, Rick. Now he's so monotone and lost a lot of his characterisation.
Seeing Rick becoming a genuinely better person over the course of the show puts it way above its contemporaries that adhere to its mean-spirited status quo and definitely helps to deter particularly hateful groups from appropriating the character as their mascot
EDIT: Also helps that the show only makes fun of people in power rather than minorities
@stanvassilev ah yes being nice is stupid apparently
@@stanvassilevwow. How can someone write so much, and still somehow be so wrong?
@@stanvassilevhow to trigger softies 101
The instant you try to use a character to shame groups of people is when you've lost the high ground to preach.
@@stanvassilev I can honestly see your point but sometimes a good message is a better one. I mean we already have SO many cynical jackass characters that spiral down into madness and loneliness Dr House, Walter White, Sherlock Holmes (sometimes), Bojack Horseman etc etc. Why not have one that turns positive instead of another carbon copy storyline that just ends up with him being alone in a universe and or dead.
Morty has almost completely absent from his own show for three episodes straight.
Yeah I noticed that too!
I trust that they have something either really big or really hilarious cooking. Maybe both.
This season most likely full on Rick because this is when he’s finally working on being healthy.
Definitely fun. Didn't expect Unity to come back...
I honestly thought season 7 would fall on its face w/o justin. It's been great so far. The voices are a touch off but understandable with the time they had.
I was worried about the same, but it seems from a recent interview with Dan that Justin hadn't been involved in the scripts in a long time.
I personally don’t think it’s been good since season 2
It's pretty clear that it lost a lot of the improv charm it once had. Now it's becoming cookie-cutter and soulless.
I think Morty needs to have more of a role in these episodes for sure, though.
@@SuprimeXefox it's good but season 1 and 2 were great
Man at first I really didn’t want to trust unity either but I really ended up liking her a lot as a character she really does seem like she cares for rick
You know, the way this season progresses feels like something bad is going to happen to Rick.
Like, it might be weird to say for a show called Rick and Morty but I think Rick might get killed definitively.
First episodes wrapped things up with his friend group, second episode kinda did the max of exploring Rick’s and Jerry’s relationship, and now this episode has Unity come back to literally say she’s worried something might happen to Rick if he goes after Prime Rick.
I really feel like the confrontation between Rick and Prime Rick might not end with our Rick victorious and I feel like this might happen this season.
You were almost right
Rick prime is dead now he has another hole to fill "the purpose of living after vengeance"
This season is missing Morty alot lately.
No kidding. The first three episodes have pretty much just become the Rick show.
Its called character development we had a season where the focus was on morty
@@niklas2933 but you can't have rick and morty without these 2 together 😢
Honestly this episode is a huge step up from the last 2. Fun watch!
Solid episode. Wasn't really a fan of all the puking but at least it had some complex themes and character moments unlike the sperm episode.
I'm so happy to see Unity is back! That's a great episode
You pinned the entire thing on rick while unity had the lion's share of the blame, not respecting ricks boundaries after a bad breakup just to showcase how much he "grew", gaslighting rick in the process, blaming the victim is a no no.
Season 7 has been going great so far and i misjudged the last episode since watching it was a rare moment for Rick to be so vulnerable, a character development he hasn’t had with Jerry. The first episode was a bit kinda off but still a gag canon story. Share your thoughts
I literally had a dream about the hive mind right after the episode. So smart, would make a great apocalyptic horror movie. You guys killed it!
I was really impressed, this episode fell like this season shifting back into gear.
this was my favorite episode of the season so far, it was so good!
I’m so happy to see Unity and letting this episode know that Rick is changing bit by bit but slowly. And while it looks like they might not see each other, maybe by the final season we could see them be together. I’m all for Unick or Ricity, whichever is the ship name
0:49 love the detail when they were in the military plane and you can see everyone holding a handgrip except for Rick. This seemingly shows how he doesn’t really care if anything happens to him and it’s also self-destructive.
I loved the episode and how it revolved around therapy and it really hits us because it is actually making Rick improve as a person being.
He’s known for being sadistic and narcissistic but by the end of the episode you have come to the conclusion that he is a really caring person underneath as he managed to let go of Unity when she told him that she doesn’t trust him.
Please have more of these character driven episodes, they are fantastic!
this episode was great! Easily my favorite of the season thus far.
You have very bad taste

they should make the episodes longer
growtopia
It definitely seems like they struggle to contain everything into the 17 minutes they have. It would take longer between seasons though, animating takes forever.
@stanvassilev you sure about that.
I think making episodes 30 mins or 25 will help with the plot not feeling rushed. Its like you wait 3 years for a new season then its once a week for a 20 min rushed episode that doesn’t really dive into anything and barely covers the surface
@@NMat2the biggest example is the Season 3 premier still imo. It’s like a movie worth of plot, in 20 minutes. It feels very jarring compared to most other episodes
I thought this episode was one of the funniest in a while. Loved it!
Referring to the president as Rick's best friend is breaking my mind. Also i agree
This was my fav episode this season! I love Dr. Wong and I love Unity so it was so good!!
First episode aside, decent season so far. We got Unity, Dr Wong and the Prez all in one episode and all tied nicely!
Hearing Keith David being the President is hilarious ahahah!
Ikr? As much as I loved all the other characters Keith David’s been doing in many shows, he’s also been killing it with the President.
who?
@@SergioDeus1 Keith David is the Voice of the president. He’s a well known voice actor also known as the Voice actor of Spawn and Dr. Facilier from the princess and the frog. Also My inspiration to voice act.

He's gonna be voicing Husk from Hazbin Hotel.
Great episodes, watching them dosent feel like full 20 minutes
But it also doesn't feel as great as previous seasons.
@@biswasbudhathoki8144I mean, that feeling has arguably been here since season 3-4. Seasons 1&2 were peak, and they have never fully been able to recapture that magic
@@biswasbudhathoki8144dont think anyone asked bro
That big foot attacking Rick prediction drawing better pay off in a future episode. I could of swore that was going to be the end joke of the episode after the credits.
When are we getting an episode that has Rick and Morty in it? So fare it’s not the voices that bother me. It’s the fact that they should change the show to “Rick” at this point.
Lmfao..... The first three episodes of the season literally has no morty
I did read somewhere that this season was going to be more Rick-story focused, but yeah we do need more Morty
I have a feeling that when we get Morty it's going to be evil Morty in a non-Rick centric universe.
@@mikki-ikki Morty is supposed to be his cancel intelligence frequency whatever. He is supposed to go with him everywhere, that's why every universe Rick is with a Morty. Just Rick makes no sense.
Probably Episode 5 since the description is “Rick and Morty wilding out, broh. They getting up to stuff.”
Im so happy they brought back Unity. A great episode
It just occured to me how lonely Unity is. Rick is the only person she can't assimilate and can offer a different point of view but he's so toxic and self destructive that she can't trust him. Unity can't even get a cat because she'd just assimilate it. She dated the last man on earth, and it didn't work out.
Got strong "Get Out" horror vibes when the President started "assimilating." Anyways, great episode 👏
Best one of this season so far!
Starting to wonder if Rick sees Dr Wong as a motherly figure...the way he was is typically how kids act when they don't want their mom dating someone else.
THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD EPISODE
Since Unity returned I’d love to see other characters return too
Really great episode 👍
I was waiting for Unity to make a comeback lol.
You and nobody else with any good taste
Strangely I felt sympathy for Unity when whe was disconnecting an entire planet's worth of herself. Seemed to be excruciatingly painful.
I still want to know what the talking cat did. I hope that is revealed in some future episode. And for some reason I think that will happen.
Yep. They knew what they were doing with that music lol
honestly the new voices we're really easy to get use too, I thought id never get use to them but I'm already 99% use to ricks voice, we havent seen too much of morty yet so when we do I'll probably get use to that one just as fast
Imagine how cooler it would have been if Wong had gotten with Birdperson, Ricks real best friend.
Hell she even LOOKS like Tammy, would've been cool to see Wong date him and become a mother to BirdPerson's teenages child. And would give BirdPerson closure on his relationship with Tammy.
The idea about the president taking therary is spot on
These last 3 episodes have been consistently good not great not amazing just very good and fun to watch
I liked the last one. Tolerated the first one. But this one was the absolute worst
@@jothePianoMaster13 fair I won’t argue
I’m kinda looking forward to Rickfending Your Mort. The background they showed while revealing that title seemed to tease a follow up on Marta.
For a being a Genius Rick is more insecure and needs other people's approval more than he let's on. Probably why he does what Curtis asks without putting up a fight.
Fun episode, bittersweet ending.
why does morty feel a lot more rude like since the new season started? and rick being polite…too polite
Why the hell has Morty had like 3 mins of screentime so far this season
it was so amazing seeing unity again, hope i wrote it right :D
and even funnier at the end
While I am liking season 7 so far, it feels they dwell too much on secondary characters, similar to live-action shows that drift away from main characters mainly due to main actors/actresses bloating paychecks.
Also, Rick & Morty are losing that A story + B story structure that was so effective in previous seasons, as well as in most of the good episodes from The Simpsons. With Dan Harmon & team being so obsessive on story-structure, that's likely a conscious decision, but doesn't seem to be paying off.
Eh, i like it. If this episode or the last one were made shorter for an unrelated and unimportant plot it would have been detrimental imo. I wished this episode was longer even.
I'm liking the new episodes lately
In other words, the writers have unbelievable respect for leaders of society... and i think america has leaders
It really feels like we haven't had a Morty episode this season. It's all Rick
i agree
It’s been 3 episodes 💀
@@rachaelbrunson2728 you’re pissed!
@@CaptainCartman024 about what lmao. All I’m saying is that there might be more morty centered episodes in the future jus gotta see
I'm starting to think that the new voice talent has problems doing Morty. More like an episode of "Rick and...."
We've all heard his Morty already, and it's spot on, this is Dan messing around and likely letting us hear a lot of Rick because they knew the hatteres would be out quick to destroy the show in Justin's name, which sounds like something he'd be saddened by. Besides, he's still getting tons of money from the show, he makes more on royalties than the voices, and as it never even saw a trial for lack of evidence of wrongdoing, he's likely paid a good amount for each new episode, as it's still part of his intellectual property.
Ngl, I thought the same. Maybe over time they’ll fall into a groove and the Morty voice will become more relaxed. It feels very forced tbh. We gotta hear the new voice to get used to it. lol
I really enjoyed this episode tbh
Another interesting episode. 👍
It makes no sense that Unity is talking about rick hunting rick prime since our rick already jumped universe, unless they're suggesting that Unity can also travel between universes
So we’ve gotten
Mr. Poopybutthole
Rick & Jerry
Rick & President
Did we forget about Morty?
Nobody forgot about Morty bro, they're just giving the audience ricks perspective as of now these past 3 episodes has been about ricks life and relationships with his friends and even the one he hates the most, there will be more Morty episodes, just wait.
I Dont mind less Morty , not being that guy, but i dont like the new voice yet so im good. even AI sounding Rick is better.
Don't forget Harmon structures in story circles! Circles within Circles within Circles! There's a point to what we see *and* what we don't see.
I'm enjoying the season well enough, and the voices are honestly fine by me... but I've got to admit, the characterisation feels a bit off from last season, and given Roiland hasn't had anything to do with the writing for a long, long time - I wonder if there has been some other changes in the room. The pathos just seems to be a little more hollow this time around. Maybe it is just something to do with not having the spectre of a HR nightmare overshadowing the production.
Loved this ep
You probably also loved Avata the last airbender movie. This episode was SHITr
We want more appearance of Unity.
Muito fofo esses animais
So did Rick ignore the calls or did he not know she called
Im still waiting to see rick get attacked by big foot like that one person's vision said he would
Ngl, when I saw the president and Dr. Wong in this episode, I thought it was going to have season 4 vibes but was pleasantly surprised by the return of Unity.
This episode was really good.
Morty still sounds off though, but thankfully he was barely in this.
He sounds a little "older", if that makes sense. He's seen some stuff.. Kind of like comparing Domestic Beth with Space Beth, the way Chalke changes the character's speech patterns (attitudes) just enough to differentiate them.
@@orokusaki1243 Don't try to find a lore reason for the new voice actor, that's cringe.
i don’t think it occurred to me that the president and rick were friends..
it's Funny how Rick and the President have this Weird Frend nemey type of relationship and that's what made the episode great
I think rick's new voice-over actor should drink some whiskey.
Russ Cargill: To prevent your vomit from spreading, your govt has sealed you all within this dome.
Unity: Gasp
Russ Cargill: Believe me, it's the last thing we wanted to do. I do own the company that makes the dome, but that's beside the point.
I really enjoyed this episode, but I hope we get more Morty centered or Rick and Morty adventure episodes
How many fetish scenes do you think Dan Harmon has written this season.
Rick is castrated and sexless, impotent and passive. People keep "taking him down a peg" and he isn't allowed to swing back. It's genuinely depressing the way this show treats its main character
Seems rick is less drunk and burpee now too.
I didn't expect to see Unity again.
Hopefully Unity saves the day.
They should really start using Morty a bit more he hasn’t been shown that much on screen it’s mosly just been about Rick they should use morty more
get justin back it’s not the same without him, this show won’t last without taking justin back 😂
Theses episodes defintetly feel shorter? Not sure if its just a feeling or they are actually much shorter. Liked this episode though had some funny bits here and there though the vomit parts of it for me were a bit much don't really enjoy gross out humor.
I still can't get past Rick's voice, just isn't the same without Roiland and will always take away an element from the show
What a season this has been so far. Even without Justin Rolland. The voices do still sound off. I know we all do miss Justin, but we all gotta move on.
Awesome Inside The Episode: Air Force Wong Rick and Morty Video.
Unity is back!!!
Are we gonna see the Purge Planet again?
This episode wasn't great for those who have Emetophobia (fear of vomiting)!
Imagine a day when rick and morty are the last great shows not infected with pandering
I don’t care what the haters say I’ve been enjoying this season.
Good for you.
As Solomon Richard would say "welcome to show buissness"
Good episode
The Unity episode was the more interesting side of it and you guys didn’t touch on it at all!
I laughed I cried.
I cool
I miss Justin’s voice.☹️
So now Rick trusts and believes in therapy? Doesn't sound like Rick.
definitely not Rick
He's growing as a person and changing very slowly.
She was right about the Pissmaster thing. That's what made Rick trust her.
Pretty decent episode
Goated episode imo
