I have listened to many quartets in my lifetime and have sung lead baritone in 4 different quartets. The redeemed quartet is one of the very best. God bless you boys. I am now 80 years old and do not sing in quartets anymore. Most of the quartet members that I sang in, have made the move to heaven. I miss them, but some day soon we will all sing together again. In the meantime I will continue to be blessed by listening to the Redeemed Quartet. What a wonderful blend and the bass singer is fantastic.

Bass was really enjoying this one. Its great to see the younger generation singing gospel quartet music. I'm 37 but used to enjoy it as a kid growing up in a baptist church and glad its still sticking around.
From past choir experience, the bass part seldom ever gets the melody, and certainly not for that much of the song. He is amazing, the lower end of my range is the higher notes of his.

This four young men here have a special gift from God, that I hope you don't loose it. Don't let jealousy get between any one of you, as it will tear you apart, as it has many, many groups. Also, don't get sucked in to the Gaither money machine, as it breeds vanity and the wrong motive. It's not about the money, but the souls you are touching for the Lord.

I think most associated with the Gaithers are just entertainers. I really enjoyed the Whole Gaither family, until one day I saw their group doing a song and they were doing dance moves. I decided right then and there it was more for self than the Lord.
Thanks, Amanda, you sound like a lady with some common sense. Most of the time I get critical comments about them being used of the Lord, which I'm sure early in their career it could have been true. But, for a long time now, they have just been money hungry 'entertainers', as you put it. For a Christian singer to commit infidelity and break up a marriage, should have removed him from singing in public, just like it would a preacher in an affair. It doesn't mean he stops singing, but just not in the Gaither setting. They are definitely about vanity.

Today. Redeemed Quartet will hit 20,000,000 views on You-Tube!! This weekend, they will probably hit 100,000 subscribers. They basically had the same numbers on FaceBook until their site was removed for no reason after being there for over six years! In my book this is plain miraculous!!! Over 40,000,000 views of four best friends that God told them to start singing together at ages 17,17,19 and 19. They knew absolutely nothing about music and had never sang by themselves before. I have never once heard them say "push that like button" or "please subscribe"! To me this has all been blessed by God because four young men wanted God to get the Glory!!! Love to the Redeemed Quartet!!! God raised you up for His Glory in this hour and I don't believe you have seen the half of it yet!!!!!!

You boys are just fantastic.... This has been a favorite because I'm always looking for the rapture, and this makes me very excited about that. But all of your songs are like that! They are all uplifting and keep us looking for our blessed hope, which is the soon coming of Jesus. You are the best but stay humble and serve Jesus. There are days when I spend all day long listening to your music... I am 83 and have loved good quartet music all my life. I have albums, 8 track tapes, cassettes, of so many of the great quartets. I started loving this music when I heard the Chuck Wagon Gang sing "Echoes from the Burning Bush", clear back in about 1950.... Then the Cathedrals did it great... And you boys Nailed it right out of the barn.... Once again.. Stay humble. 😇

Went to hear the Redeemed Quartet in Anderson, Indiana tonight! Wowser!!! Packed house and people from all over the country there. Three different groups of people all the way from Florida! Oh how the Spirit flooded the place as they sang "It is Well"!! Keep on being the real deal boys and keep on giving the Glory to the Lord!!! Sat almost in the back and watched a lot of happy older generation shedding tears and grinning ears to ears!!!!!

I am a 74 years Romanian guy that lives in States. I love music. I grew up with music. My father was the violin #1 in a big orchestra, my mom a piano teacher, my sister choir director and my brother playing guitar. You amazed and trilled me.
I tell you what I am going to do. I pray every day for all the godly preachers that spread the Word of God on media, for their families, churches and organizations. From now on I am going to pray for all the godly singers, especially for you, the young ones. Having myself 12 grown up children I learned something from the pressure that it is upon you.

This was one of the first songs I came onto by the Redeemed Quartet. THIS is my kind of old-time gospel music. Four-part harmony, each one a part, each singing and harmonizing their part beautifully! Personally, I feel this is the way God intended gospel music to be sung. Today's contemporary music often leaves me feeling empty, especially as a bass singer since many, if not most of the contemporary songs are written without a bass clef. Even the "rhythm" of the bass guitar (or other bass instruments seems out of place. So, unfortunately, I stand silent in church on Sunday because I don't have a place in the music anymore. :-(
