A master of cat and mouse already. Combined with his power game creates a dynamic and pinpoint strategy of precise and surgical courage. Outstanding athlete is Carlos ❤❤❤
@@tennisnearerthegods I must agree. At first (about 2 years ago) I saw an interview on Carlos and I thought "the kid is really ambitious). Now I see his vision. Physically he doesn't seem very imposing, but damn, he has already surpassed any reasonable expectations. He is proving to be relentlessly committed to becoming a great player. Yep, his drop-shot lob combination is out of this world... First forces his opponent way back behind the baseline with his cannon ball of a fh, then executes his drop shot, and if the opponent really gets there.... Murray-esque lob... This combination really deserves a name on its own. What should we call it, any suggestions? The Alcaraz triple execution combo?
Reporter: "You've caused opponents to stumble and fall down." Alcarez: "Yes." "A few have even sprained or dislocated their ankles." "Yeah, that was cool." "One of them was running so hard he had a heart attack." "Even better." "Wait, what? He could've died!" "Hey lady, I'm not doing this to be forgotten."

Step 1: hit hard like a truck to push the opponent 7 ft behind the baseline Step 2: hit an ankle breaking dropshot Step 3: hit a lob that's 5 inches within the baseline
Alcaraz is like a combination of Federer, Djokovic, Nadal and Murray. Those lobs are the best since Murray, who (let's be honest) has the one of the best lobs in history of tennis. But even though they compare him to the all time greats, he wants to write his own story. In his own unique way. And he feels less pressure because of it than, let's say, Dimitrov, whom people called "the new Federer" for a while. And it did Grigor no good.
It is a trivial tactic, because to neutralize the lob it would be enough to redo a swirling ball near the net. Clearly the opponent must arrive quickly on the short ball in order to find the right measures
No, this video doesn't really show his cannon ball of a fh with which he forces the opponent way back behind the baseline before he executes his drop shot... and if the opponent really gets there... Murray-esque lob here we come... Such a "trivial" tactic. 😆
His match agains noly has a lot of push, and drops. I can't remember if there was any lob but drops for sure. (I love Noly a lot but I'm a fan of carlitos)

Absolutely, his combination of power and feel is unmatched in present tennis.

And he is only 20 year old. Djokovic won his second Grand Slam at 23, Federer won his first at 21. Alcaraz has already won two Grand Slam titles.

How about a “push-drop-over”?
JUST SAY THEY HAVE BEEN ALCARAZZED
Yes I love it “The Carlitos Alcaraz triple execution Combo” or the “TCATEC” Remember make it his own as there are other Alcaraz’s on this planet! 😂
@@tennisnearerthegods A "push-drop-over", that's it! 👍😀
Commentators would say opponents have been Alcarazzed with the push-drop-over, superb! 😂 Just like Roger's '"SABR"
1) forces opponent to back with heavy forehand
2) drop shots
3) if drop shots survive then volley/Lob
4) volley
The King of Dropshots for sure
He won the point but didn't got the lobby on Nadal
This dude using every shot. Every tactic.Cold.

0:52 That was the most creative and beautiful.
Alcaraz has the perfect combination of raw power and touch, and he's only 19.
that is the Andy Murray lob!
Escape from Alcaraz!🤣

Alcaraz in Darth Vader voice there's no escape!
Alcadrop and Alcalob.
We'll see. Usually people's predictions are always proved wrong. No matter how good you are at something, there's always someone that can beat you.
As you said, we’ll see. But the future of men’s tennis looks promising with Alcaraz, Sinner etc.

I think Nadal's the only one who got the lob back
The Big three before him

It may be a trivial tactic but it's the execution which makes it difficult to defend against. The forehand, the drop shot and the lob are all so good.

i tink his taktic is to play a drop shot and then let the opponentn come close and finally play a lob
No youre wrong
