Wooohooo I am so happy to see the joy in your face...what an accomplishment...it's beautiful Molly...so happy your client love it...and yes the struggle is real...thanks so much for sharing your experiences and your expertise with us Molly...stay bless 😘🥰💙💙💙💙
Hi Molly... Well, what a challenge this was. Third time lucky for Goldilocks! It's very serene and peaceful and I'm so pleased the client loves it. The turquoise you mixed is such a gorgeous colour and you should be very proud of this commission. Well done for your patience and huge efforts. It's been a great learning journey for us all.
This is beautiful, peaceful and calm. Thank you for sharing the journey Molly. I really appreciate your honesty and willingness to try new things explain what works and what doesn’t. Please thank your husband for his very important contribution !! You make a great team…. 🙏
Molly! This is so GORGEOUS!!! I did one with what seems like the exact blues! But first i puddle poured Amsterdam white, with 24 karat gold on top of the white. Then I ring poured the blues on top of that & stretched. The blue pushed the white & gold to the outer edges, making it look like sand & froth on the waters edge. The gold peeked through the white just enough in patches to make small islands. It’s one of my favorites! I’ll see about posting a picture in the comments, if you post this on your Facebook!💙🌊
You are BRAVE. This is HUGE. Biggest I have, not used yet, are 15” x 30”, or maybe the 18” x 36” I guess are bigger. I was going for size ratios of 1 to 3, or 1 to 2, for triptychs or diptychs. But I also have 4” x 12” and did my first -tech, (trip), a year and a half in to Dutch Pours. This is absolutely HUGE and awesomely gorgeous. I LOVE IT.
“Goldilocks” has been quite a journey. This turned out so beautiful. The lacing, colors, and swiping are stunning. Definitely brings out ocean vibes! So glad we changed the colors to just ocean tones and highlights of turquoise. We can’t wait to see this gorgeous piece in person. Thanks for the support and communication throughout this process. You continue to amaze us with your artistry and creativity. A special shout-out to your husband for his patience and help with all of your attempts. Looking forward to getting this piece and hanging it in our home. You are awesome Molly!! 👍♥️
Hi Molly! I’m wondering what type of varnish you use that is NOT spray. I don’t like resin, and I have a difficult time getting an even coat with the spray, on bigger canvases. Any advice is absolutely welcome 😎❣️
Learned so much from your "struggle" to find the right outcome for your client. Your persistence paid off and the result of #3 was gorgeous. Thank you for sharing ❣️
I’m so happy that you created a beautiful painting (times 3) for a client and made that person an absolutely stunning painting. In doing that your client has something they know that you worked so hard to get it just, right for them. Constant communication and honesty will always carry the day. Gorgeous painting, happy client, happy artist! Win win 🥇❤️❣️
Ahhhhhh, 3rd time is definitely a charm in this one!! Beautiful Molly. I have no doubts your client is in love with this. Such a size as this us so difficult but you pulled it off gorgeously 💙😊
I knew you would get it!!!! I see all the colors, there is aqua, turquoise, deep and medium blue!!!!🌊 I love❤ those colors and I love this painting. 👏 The lines are so pronounced.... they remind me of true tree rings from a very old tree. This will be an awesome conversation piece where ever your client is intending to hang it. GREAT JOB!!!! So glad it is over for you, but I am gonna bet there will be another 4x4 in Molly's future AGAIN! 😄 😶🌫
Wow Molly this piece is stunnin'! So beautiful and the colors are *chef's kiss*. The LACING! OMG 😲 that's all I can say is WOW 👏 fantastic job on this one ✌🏻💜👑🔥
Watching 👀 this video taught me that repetition and change is not always a bad thing. And honesty is always the best policy.. I l9ve your work. And I know this video is an older video . But I love watching 👀 all of your videos.. you are such a great teacher and artist 🎨. And I love you. I have a question to ask you ... I've had several strokes and I love doing what I can do may I please work under you to learn and take in all I can ? Please? Thank you for taking the rime to read this.
WOW this turned out beautiful love the ocean vibes and the colors. Would love to see all 3 of the next to each other if the fit in the frame of the camera to see the differences and the journey it has taken you on 😁
Beautiful painting, Molly! I’m glad the client finally got what she wanted. Here’s a fun fact for you. Those pitchers hold roughly 1 gallon of fluid. 1 gallon of water weighs 5 pounds. 1 gallon of diesel weighs 8 pounds. 1 gallon of acrylic paint weighs ~12 pounds. Since we know it’s not all paint (floetrol and medium gloss varnish) that probably puts it down to about 10 pounds per gallon. When it’s wet, you’re looking at a painting that weighs in the neighborhood of 30 pounds before any is poured over the sides. That’s including the weight from the canvas.
Hi Molly! I'm a fairly new subscriber, and I'm working my way through your videos. I know this is a pretty old post, so I hope you see this. I love watching you ❤ Your positive energy and smile are contageous. Not to mention you are such a skilled painter with a special gift that you have honed so well. This painting came out so lovely (as usual lol) but I'm absolutely in love with the painting behind you! Please do you have a link to a video of how it was created? I would so love to see it. Keep bringing your light, as well as your beautiful art to the world. You are an inspiration. ❤❤❤
Yah!!! You did it nothing is impossible! Love the flow and the color palette definitely works better. I bet the details would really pop if you topped with resin but this is a HUGE painting so idk if that would be feasible lol
