I'm watching building tour videos for inspiration for a work project. This video is done REALLY well. The talent is excited, the tone is upbeat and it's fun. There are a lot of terrible building tours out there, so props to the producer!
This Church does not have to be ashamed of anything. King Solomon built a sanctuary greater than this so the House of God should be done with excellence. Well done Rivers Church! Even the church's community projects is outstanding. I am so inspired!

I think this is wonderful. Church should be a place of refreshment. A place where one should feel comfortable. It should be a place where people should feel like lingering for a while. It is conducive towards the forging of close friendships and connections between people. For those who think this is a bit too much, there is also the choice of a smaller, more modest church setting. Either way, the church is not contained w/in a building, it is inside of us. The Holy Spirit !
People are so negative... look at what GOD can do, it’s not about how fancy the place look, it’s how God blessed this church. But nevertheless, I listen to Pastor Andre on Podcast, before seeing how Rivers look. I was drawn to Rivers, not because it looks how it look, but the word given by God to Pastor Andre. Be blessed Rivers and I pray one day when I end up in Sandton, I’ll pop in and experience this. Have a blessed day
N/A I sometimes visit here. Is it a cult? I don’t believe so. The sermons are really not bad, although slanted slightly towards prosperity. My thoughts has always gone back to the 7 different types of churches in the book of revelation..., all six of them were imperfect in one way of another. Some rich, some poor. God will separate the truth from the false on the judgement day....
What does the Bible say about Heaven? What was Solomon's temple like..... Who was the wises and riches person who ever lived! Then you would say God is vanity.....just look around you!
Christ said not to make the Father’s house a market, and that’s what you essentially completed. Christ turned the tables and got angry at what the Pharisees did when they sold things/animals at the church; His temple. 🙏🏽✝️🙏🏽
For the naysayers This church is in 1 of the few Business districts in Africa. (((No mammon here))) Exceptional *design* & I guarantee that JESUS is first & foremost here. John 14 : 6 & Acts 4 : 12. Ps Andre loves impacting lives.You should make a turn there and buy some COFFEE lol....really good coffee I must say...o and the food is really good...

yes, I tried to tell relatives that a real Church isn't so worldly, this "church" makes itself very luxurious to attract worldly people. their goal is for people to not to come learn and worship the lord, but to attract as many people as possible. This "church" barely pays any attention to the fatherless and widows, they sit there spending on making fancy buildings

I’m sure they help a lot of the less fortunate, but you don’t really need a business church like this, which to me more looks like a ‘cult’ like center. No u got it wrong...They got the church auditorium separately positioned...The other parts like the book shops, restaurant,pool for baptism,car park and office departments are all very important too..But separately positioned as well.. There is always time for everything...
When you start a business, to make money, as business does, but you're clever. 1. You get stupid people to finance it, without having to repay them. 2. You're not taxed on profits (on that score I can respect him, since tax is another form of theft from sheep), 3. You have a title and get to tell stupid people many lies which they slurp up and you have a sheen of respectability. Even though you're a crook preying on ignorance. Amazing what you can do when 10,000 fools club in, only too happy to give their money away.
