Samsung Galaxy A54 features a 6.6" Display, Exynos 1480 Chipset, 8GB of ram, and One UI 6.1. Samsung Galaxy S24 features a 6.2" Display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 8GB of ram, and One UI 6.1. because they're aimed for markets where the phone is someone's entire entertainment center. their gaming device and media consumption device. mid rangers wouldn't sell with a 6.'2 screen outside Europe or America, india and Africa prefer bigger screens.

I have a samsung a34 and it never lags. Games on smooth 60 fps on every game. Plus now it goes for 240 in my country and its such a steal!!

would be really interesting and would gave an idea of how exynos ages
Exynos is not sold in the United States besides the A series phones, so I won't be testing those but I get where you're coming from thanks for sharing!

As someone who is very much interested in latest tech and top end processors, would you suggest to get a S24 (exynos2400 variant) since I stay in southern India......knowing the difference in battery performance and other things would you suggest to get it?
I don't think you should get it cause in india temperatures are so high sompared to other countries where all tests are tested and all tests vary depending on user.

I'm usually a PC gamer when I'm home. When it's just me and my phone and I'm bored, I stick to the emulators. That's why the Chipset are important to me - I wanna know how far I can go (if it can run a PS1, maybe a PS2 emulator w/o struggles). I'm currently with an Galaxy A11 and oh boy, the thing can barely run a PS1 emulator. So I'm switching to the A55
A55 is fast voor 356 euro i payed, wow. Cool, i ordered today that A55 and that screen is also brighter then the S24, wow, nice.

Nick one thing you haven’t noticed is that one ui hasn’t optimized all the animations. For example when you’re watching a video and swipe up to see it in pip the animation is nonexistent, meanwhile pixel nails this. Also, when you swipe immediately to a different page after swiping up to go home the phone freezes for a second until it finishes the animation. Even the S24 ultra have these problems
I've noticed that with the A55, but I've tried 24 plus and it seems there is no issue, I've tried different units of A54, and one of them has the issue while the other does not.
yeah but pixel's google tensor G3 cpu is not as powerful as the S seires from samsung, Pixel's AI processing is very slow!

"Boots up way faster"...20s vs 27s...yeah, but I can live with 7 extra seconds of bootup, honestly🙂 Regarding gaming on a phone...I played TMNT: Shredder's Revenge or Hades...the latest Call of Duty is cool and all, I just feel the phones are better suited for the 2D stuff. Maybe Hearthstone.

I have the A55. The S24 is about the same price as iPhones here in my country. Can’t afford it.
I bought two a54 5 days ago and on both of them I notice that they have a slightly grainy display, given that I'm coming from an LCD, it's the first time I'm using an AMOLED, but it's something I noticed immediately and I don't understand why no one talks about it in the reviews. Is it a factory defect or is it normal?
This video is covering A55, the A54 is a super amOLED display with 1080 so you don't get the best of samsung which is dynamic amoled 2x with wqhd+ resolution. The Super amOLED 1080P screen on A54 appears that way because it has less density due to a large panel with 1080. Also is there a screen protector on your screen?
@@nickackermanchannel I know that the video is about the a55, I wanted an opinion from you since you reply to comments and this is your most recent video. No, I don't have any protection on the display. I saw on reddit that some users have the same problem especially on s24 ultra and they call it MURA effect. this is especially visible at medium-low brightness and in low light environments. I also contacted a Samsung operator here in Italy and he said that in his opinion it is normal, there is not a manufacturing defect. What do you think, is the display perfect for you?

A55 fingure print is a bit annoying otherwise everything else works perfectly well
Hey Nick, I just wanted to let you know that the Galaxy A series has a different software than the S series. You can see that in smoothness and some bugs on the A series because it's not prioritized. Also, flagships have smoother animations.
I don't think the A55 has better performance than the A54, it is because of the 6.1 update in my opinion.
The only thing I don't like about A55 is why Samsung making the screen bigger? why not just make it like the size of S24 and it will be above decent. imo

Yes you seem like the perfect candidate and if you want to use AI there is still some camera AI features and like any phone you can download AI apps if you ever became interested. A55 seems just right for you!

3:19 to show real flagship performance i think that maybe would it be better to run more demanding games that's where You Will SEE more the difference between a mid Range phone and a phone with a flagship chip. Because opening apps day to day doesnt demand all that much unless is a really Bad phone.

Those huge bezels on the A55 look horrible, Samsung nerfing the A series looks on purpose to not compete with the S models; unfortunately for the A series it competes with other brands too that look much better at this price point.
