I wasn't aware of her connections to these brands you talked about, I thought that was neat to learn about. I found it a treat anyway just seeing all these high quality photos of her style lined up with you to point out the patterns in her style choices. I think with Jackie it's fine to separate her from any political stuff or her husband's personal behaviour which she had no control of and to just enjoy her fashion. Is there a chance we could do her sorta-lookalike Mary Tyler Moore as a future preppy style icon? I don't think you've done one of these icons that would be so based around the 1970s yet.
Ooh yes Mary Tyler Moore is a great suggestion - I have happy memories of watching her on The Dick Van Dyke Show, although that was the 60s of course. I do love the 70s fashion too... a favourite of mine was always Marcia Brady 🙈
@@FabSakker I think you could argue both The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show in the 70s could fit into preppy (even if not every single outfit). I love Marcia Brady's style too so I'd definitely enjoy a video on her looks as well - I hadn't considered her for this but now I'm really interested in that concept!

Today am wearing white button neck shirt, multiple colors plaid tweed straight skirt & brown button up cardigan with tiny gold buttons. Brown tights & wider heeled ankle boots. Looking fly & preppy should anyone knock at the door! 😆 Preppy dress whether staying home or going out. Love to eBay & thrift suitable items I can alter too.
The frocks on the thumbnail are very elegant. I am not so sure about wearing a bow on the belly. The pastel pink silk gown is my favourite. It is classy.

Surprisingly, Jackie’s three strand necklace was simulated pearls. Despite being faux they still were auctioned off for a huge price😊 So we all can attained this iconic accessory.
For those of us who lived through that day, talking about Jackie’s clothing on the day her husband was brutally murdered in the streets and we lost our beloved President, is just beyond the pale. That suit evokes tragic memories. Please, have more respect
Jackie was truly an icon! I have been to JFK's presidential library many years ago and it was great... I would love to go back again! I am glad you like the vintage dress 😄 it is such a fabulous colour and very well constructed (they don't make 'em like they used to!)
