Nick Saban tried to warn you people about this type of stuff would end up happening but y’all wanted to clown him saying he’s scared and running from competition now y’all crying and saying players shouldn’t be able to do this and rules should be applied 🤣

There needs to be regulations put in ASAP. Because this is ridiculous. This dude finessed some local business in Iowa. Under the pretense that he was gonna play games there. They would have never ever paid him knowing he was gonna come for a month vacation and then dip back to Bama.

They would have NEVER paid him to take a month vacation to come out to Iowa and act like hes a member of the team, and then dip back to Bama. Because thats exactly what he did. @@southeastdaygo6193 No, I wouldn't commit to Iowa in 2022, then flip to Bama on signing day potentially getting money from Iowa and screwing them over a first time. Then do it again go to Iowa, highway robbery for 100k then get another offer from Bama and keep Iowa money for 2nd time and ditch. I think pretty lowly of Bama for accepting him back. As a diehard Alabama fan, I think Proctor should have to pay back all of the money he got from the Iowa collective before reentering the TP. The NCAA need to get off their lazy butts and put some kind of regulation in place to control NIL. Coach Saban warned everyone that this would happen. It has completely gotten out of control. Ohio State gave Bama CB Downs 3 million dollars in NIL money to leave Alabama. Another Ohio State NIL collective brought him a brand new 2024 Range Rover as well. If he had stayed at Alabama, he would have made more money because he was a projected first rounder in the NFL.

Your argument is great for a college sophomore. This episode clearly consists of character, trust, and commitment. None of which young Mr Proctor displays an understanding, much less any integrity. NIL, future financial potential don’t matter as far as I am concerned. He obviously is too lazy or thoughtless to be available for spring ball and personal and team development, at either Bama or Iowa. In my earlier life, I would look at this behavior and decline to have Proctor fly my wing. He is unreliable and untrustworthy. That is his basic character and this is reinforced over the past 2 years. This is much deeper than money, this involves the teams affected and who he is, or rather who he is not.

He’s 19, made a rash decision of thinking he was going home only to realize T-Town was his home. Wilkin Formby/Booker are his best buds and maybe he wants to finish what he started? You could literally say the same for any player that is a starter and transfers. Does it show character, trust and commitment to jump teams or for a program to tamper with a college freshman when he SEC DE’s were getting the best of him as he wasn’t playing well? He FLIPPED originally, he didn’t sign with Iowa to begin with then change his mind…. Transferring and flipping are two completely different things. Bama flipped some other kids, some kids flipped from Bama to another school. You telling me none of those players have any of those before mentioned characteristics? When Ross Pierschbacher left Iowa for Bama, did he lack all of those? Maybe it’s just me, but going back to the school you originally played for shows a lot more character than leaving. But by all means, continue stomping your feet about a 19 year old that never put an Iowa jersey on during a game day or even practice.
