Reeves Turtle Care and Maintenance (Outdoors)

Time to tidy up the Reeves' Outdoor Enclosure! Ben quickly trims through plants, removes dead stalks and tidies up the water greenery around a nice water change.
Despite weekly water changes, it is important to maintain an enclosure like this as often as possible - for the health of the plants and the animals within.
Logan joined in to help, and decided to build his own outdoor fish pond for his toys while Dad worked.

Do yours spend most of the time in the water or on land? Mines don’t seem to want to come out of the pond unless it’s to sun themselves on the floaters.

As they got more confident they spend a little more time on land but still most of their time in water

I just realized the Reeves Turtle is extremely similar to the Indian Spotted Turtle in build.

Planning to get a pet turtle but i cant decide between red ear and reeves, can you give advise wc one to choose coz i dont know anything about turtles. As a beginner wc one to get or wc one is easy to take care of?

@@Rcrdo072 if space is an issue and you have to use some form of terrarium I would recommend Reeves if space isn't an issue then red eared and yellow bellied sliders make amazing pets and are very quick to interact with you
