I remote mount winch solenoids for easy service. Ramseys are magnificent but users kill the (inexpensive) electric motors by undercurrent. I use welding cable to connect my winches and don't have that problem. My wreckers have extra batteries in parallel near the winches which is very useful.

Great idea. Not sure if I’ll have enough room for extra batteries. On a cj7. But the welding cables is something I can do

First time I ever touched one of these. lol. So??? Yeah. I fumbled around…… allot.. lol
The motor was full of rust.
