I am about to reveal what that secret is, of why we say they are the best and why Arnel Pineda was able to fill Steve Perry's shoe's(Which, that is damn near impossible to do, if you don't know who Steve Perry is!), as Journey's lead vocal's. Okay, the key secret of why Filipino's(Yes, I spelled it correctly, if you are wondering.) are the top vocalist's in the world, is because for 1: they are THE hardest working culture on their vocal's and make it into a game of sort's, to put a smile on their face's, with that little karaoke machine in damn near every home over there. 2: they love to perform and express their humbleness to other's, in their own way. It's also why you hear those 4 girl's constantly thanking everyone, to be on that stage. It's because, their upbringing embeds the idea, to thank those chance's, whether it be to be on a stage, or just sing their heart's out to a small group of people. It doesn't matter. Over in the Philippines, they learn to tone their voice's, like a fine instrument(Which, in the music industry, it is considered an instrument.), that they push themselves, to perfect, instead of letting themselves fall flat on their face's, because they have way too much energy, to not be dancing around to the beat, as well. And, #3: They don't focus on just 1 style of music, either. They focus on every aspect of the music genre itself. It's why, you will notice, that a lot of the Filipino's love to test themselves, by switching between rock, rap, country, R&B, classical & choir style song's. they never say to themselves, that "Ohhh, I just wanna sing only rap, or rock music, or whatever.", they will always test their own boundaries and use the time, to strengthen their weaknesses, where in other culture's, we tend to lack in that area, where we tend to get stubborn and stick to just 1 style. Which, happen's to be a burden on a person's vocal's, if they don't broaden that horizon...

Ya'll need to get that out of your head's, if ya'll think, that there is a damn barrier in your way, that only YOU can see! Hell, look at Bruce Lee!? He wasn't even tryin to be a movie star, all he wanted to do was, be the best martial artist in the world(Which, he pretty much was. And, held as an idol, to so many other martial artist's, as well.). But, he ended up being a legend in the movie's, guiding the way, for Jet Li and even Jackie Chan. And, there are countless other's, that are Asian star's, as well. They just didn't give up and let their panties fall to the floor, like a pole dancer on prom night...
Do the judges and public even know how hard it is to sing AND dance at the same time?? They never commented on this lol. All the other contestants focus all their energy on just singing, while all established singers, who also dance on stage, use lip sync. 4th Impact sing AND dance well AT THE SAME TIME. Can we take a moment to appreciate how good they are at both, without compromising their vocal quality?
Celina's rapping is insane oh my God! They really harmonize no matter what song they sing. It's crazy. I love these girls and they are amazing. Well done!
I enjoy fifth harmony and their songs but they're no where near as good as this group live especially their first couple of performances, how the hell do they not have a record deal? smh

Actually totoo... napansin ko agad, parang sila sila lang talaga hanggang huli. No add ons, no back up dancers, just brute talent lang and showmanship. Nasa kanila yung focus ng tao hindi sa props and effects. Either way, kung kinulang yung outfit for now, okey lang, sa susunod aayusin yun. (hindi ko sure, baka may effect kasi yung pagchange ng song, we just don't know, maybe for some reason siguro). Mas matinde, parang mukang bagong group. Isipin nyo nalang, yung first choice "Shut up and Dance" tas ganun parin yung outfit, patay!
I totally agree about the boring outfit and such but common, what matter is that they gave their best and it was AMAZING! What would you do with all the big productions and eye catching outfits without the TALENT?!! right? I'm pretty sure there will be a next time and they will definitely kick ass!!!!! P.S. 5H can't sing highnote P8 like them , they can take octave ( or p8 = 800HZ) they can begin at the lownote to the highnote (whitsle register),before these girl appear, in this world only Mariah can take this, and now the are really fenomenal
What the judges 'conveniently' turned a blind eye to was this was the first ever group which had it all; singing with great harmonising vocals and individuality, synch dance moves and maintaining the tight performance LIVE. They were hands down much better than ALL the other girl bands or boy bands put together. They should have won.
I think this the time for mr. strictly Simon Cowell to judge a talent search in the Philippines I'm pretty sure he will be amaze the talent of Filipinos. hopefully!
they are PPop... can dance but with amazing Vocals... Thou Korean also have great voices but the voice of a filipino a lot more passion and eagerness... next to the black singers.. but over all God gave us different voices to share and make this world happy and Lovely...

Mylene has a very wide range! I know Almira gets a lot of praise for that really high pitched chest voice - but Mylene's reach for the high notes is just as effortless, but her low notes are also rich! It is her voice that rounds out the harmonies! This group was the best thing this season had in my humble opinion - not discounted anyone else's talent - so many talents here, but 4th Impact was the one to watch.
Almira can go higher than Mylene its actually A struggle to reach super high notes she can't go that high bc her voice is Powerful like Christia Aguilera

Even Ariana can't sing that song while moving so much. Ya'll have to understand that the song is a pop song sung Ariane Grande, not Christina Aguilera or Beyonce. You can't expect an Aretha Franklin type performance with this song. Nontheless a great performance and very very smart because it is current and will hopefully win over some of the younger voters.

I just needed to make a comment after reading all the comments below. First of all, just the judges giving them a spot in the live shows is already reason enough to be thankful to X Factor UK. How many Asian aspirants have you seen at this stage of the competition? I reckon not many. So, they are not being sabotaged or anything of the like. They are given a fair chance just like everyone in the Top 13. Stop saying that Cheryl or the X Factor team are not doing them justice. You guys are just asking for too much already. Buy their song on iTunes, or better yet, phone in your votes instead of just viewing their videos and making arguments of what nots. If you can't, then just shut up and watch. Secondly, their outfits are fine. The wardrobe stylist isn't the one making the ultimate decisions on what to wear, it is the contestants themselves. The stylist only suggests clothes that she thinks is suitable for the contestants, but in the end, what to wear during the lives is the contestant's choice. If you don't like their outfits, then that's the same as not liking the contestant's choice. These girls aren't stupid, you know? If they pushed through their performance wearing that, then they probably liked their outfits or else they would have just asked for a different outfit. Third, their voices are amazing as it is. Among the groups, they are the only ones I think who didn't need playback vocals on their performance. And if you can sing in tune while dancing constantly without losing your breath for 2 minutes, then please share your thoughts on how to do it. As I would put it, "Don't bark if you're not a dog. You'd just sound weird and stupid." So, stop saying how to sing these and that if you yourself can't even sing in tune. You're ignorance can be contagious, you know? Lastly, Cheryl's demographic for the girls are younger audiences, thus the packaging. These girls are small and cute with amazing vocals. Cheryl is trying to make them appealing to the British teens. As far as I'm concerned, the younger the fans are, the better. Young fans can grow together with these girls in the future when they do release their albums and will follow them around no matter where they are in the world. Also, I saw a post on twitter regarding a conversation between British students saying how annoyed they are of rude and classless Filipino comments on the girls' videos on UA-cam. Fellow Filipinos should be wary of what they say on the internet. I'm just gutted for the girls because they will be receiving the backlash of the negative comments Filipinos make against everyone. So, I'm pleading my fellow Filipinos to stop the rude comments and just buy their song on iTunes. I already did, so you should to. That's the only help you can do for them if you can't vote for them in the live shows.

Even tho they didn’t win, I think everyone can agree that they’re literally the best Live Action Singers. Like, no backtrack or ear piece in their ears yet they can sing and dance like it was an actual Music Video. Like, each of their performances is basically a concert.

To clarify on the 5H and 4i copycat issue. The production team and wardrobe staff were in charge of the outfit and the background. 4i didn't have a say on it. As to 5H, the production and wardrobe staff were also responsible for the look and was prefabricated. So what most think as their original look was definitely not theirs. So the credit or blame can only be attributed to the production and wardrobe guys. So haters, please direct your hate somewhere else, not on some unfounded and baseless claims.

I tried to repeat every single note of the song and I was so impressed with their vocals. That high note that Almira gave in! OMG ! That was so high and she incredibly sustained it. Just Wow! There were no back up singers standing by to cover up any flaws...👏👏

While there are cimcumstances that some Filipinos were nagging other contestants' videos or keep on bragging how 4th impact's performance week after week is impressive, I would like to seek your deepest understanding of them just being excited or proud that such group they knew was given an opportunity to shine in an international platform. i just notice the volume of the mic is very low compare to the other performer. i feel there's a sabotage during this performance unlike their rehearsal we can hear them clearly. but at least they still killed it.. anyway congrats for the first live show girls.. 👭👭
I also noticed that. The mic sounds weak at some parts especially on the adlibs and on the harmony. For me the harmony is spot on and the high notes are really just incredible! Perfect! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

This is the best vocal that they've had all season. I didn't like them at first because their harmonies and riffs were sloppy, but they really proved me wrong this week and I really enjoyed this performance. I'm pleasantly surprised how much I loved it. I do agree that they need some help with breath control, but they improved so much on their vocals that I didn't even care. Well done 4th Impact.

There's something freaky on the mic. Sometimes it don't emmit the right volume...it sound weak...I noticed it three times...then it's back to normal...hmmm...maybe a technical issue...they sing at the top of their lungs, hiting right all the high notes inspite of dancing...the vocals are really really great! And they dance so good! Total performers they are...the rap part is great too! Wow!

I am about to reveal what that secret is, of why we say they are the best and why Arnel Pineda was able to fill Steve Perry's shoe's(Which, that is damn near impossible to do, if you don't know who Steve Perry is!), as Journey's lead vocal's. Okay, the key secret of why Filipino's(Yes, I spelled it correctly, if you are wondering.) are the top vocalist's in the world, is because for 1: they are THE hardest working culture on their vocal's and make it into a game of sort's, to put a smile on their face's, with that little karaoke machine in damn near every home over there. 2: they love to perform and express their humbleness to other's, in their own way. It's also why you hear those 4 girl's constantly thanking everyone, to be on that stage. It's because, their upbringing embeds the idea, to thank those chance's, whether it be to be on a stage, or just sing their heart's out to a small group of people. It doesn't matter. Over in the Philippines, they learn to tone their voice's, like a fine instrument(Which, in the music industry, it is considered an instrument.), that they push themselves, to perfect, instead of letting themselves fall flat on their face's, because they have way too much energy, to not be dancing around to the beat, as well. And, #3: They don't focus on just 1 style of music, either. They focus on every aspect of the music genre itself. It's why, you will notice, that a lot of the Filipino's love to test themselves, by switching between rock, rap, country, R&B, classical & choir style song's. they never say to themselves, that "Ohhh, I just wanna sing only rap, or rock music, or whatever.", they will always test their own boundaries and use the time, to strengthen their weaknesses, where in other culture's, we tend to lack in that area, where we tend to get stubborn and stick to just 1 style. Which, happen's to be a burden on a person's vocal's, if they don't broaden that horizon...

Actually totoo... napansin ko agad, parang sila sila lang talaga hanggang huli. No add ons, no back up dancers, just brute talent lang and showmanship. Nasa kanila yung focus ng tao hindi sa props and effects. Either way, kung kinulang yung outfit for now, okey lang, sa susunod aayusin yun. (hindi ko sure, baka may effect kasi yung pagchange ng song, we just don't know, maybe for some reason siguro). Mas matinde, parang mukang bagong group. What the judges 'conveniently' turned a blind eye to was this was the first ever group which had it all; singing with great harmonising vocals and individuality, synch dance moves and maintaining the tight performance LIVE. They were hands down much better than ALL the other girl bands or boy bands put together. They should have won.

Mylene has a very wide range! I know Almira gets a lot of praise for that really high pitched chest voice - but Mylene's reach for the high notes is just as effortless, but her low notes are also rich! It is her voice that rounds out the harmonies! This group was the best thing this season had in my humble opinion - not discounted anyone else's talent - so many talents here, but 4th Impact was the one to watch.

I just needed to make a comment after reading all the comments below. First of all, just the judges giving them a spot in the live shows is already reason enough to be thankful to X Factor UK. How many Asian aspirants have you seen at this stage of the competition? I reckon not many. So, they are not being sabotaged or anything of the like. They are given a fair chance just like everyone in the Top 13. Stop saying that Cheryl or the X Factor team are not doing them justice. You guys are just asking for too much already. Buy their song on iTunes, or better yet, phone in your votes instead of just viewing their videos and making arguments of what nots. If you can't, then just shut up and watch.
Secondly, their outfits are fine. The wardrobe stylist isn't the one making the ultimate decisions on what to wear, it is the contestants themselves. The stylist only suggests clothes that she thinks is suitable for the contestants, but in the end, what to wear during the lives is the contestant's choice. If you don't like their outfits, then that's the same as not liking the contestant's choice. These girls aren't stupid, you know? If they pushed through their performance wearing that, then they probably liked their outfits or else they would have just asked for a different outfit.
Third, their voices are amazing as it is. Among the groups, they are the only ones I think who didn't need playback vocals on their performance. And if you can sing in tune while dancing constantly without losing your breath for 2 minutes, then please share your thoughts on how to do it. As I would put it, "Don't bark if you're not a dog. You'd just sound weird and stupid." So, stop saying how to sing these and that if you yourself can't even sing in tune. You're ignorance can be contagious, you know?
Lastly, Cheryl's demographic for the girls are younger audiences, thus the packaging. These girls are small and cute with amazing vocals. Cheryl is trying to make them appealing to the British teens. As far as I'm concerned, the younger the fans are, the better. Young fans can grow together with these girls in the future when they do release their albums and will follow them around no matter where they are in the world. Also, I saw a post on twitter regarding a conversation between British students saying how annoyed they are of rude and classless Filipino comments on the girls' videos on UA-cam. Fellow Filipinos should be wary of what they say on the internet. I'm just gutted for the girls because they will be receiving the backlash of the negative comments Filipinos make against everyone. So, I'm pleading my fellow Filipinos to stop the rude comments and just buy their song on iTunes. I already did, so you should to. That's the only help you can do for them if you can't vote for them in the live shows.

That's because they changed their song which made them late.
To clarify on the 5H and 4i copycat issue. The production team and wardrobe staff were in charge of the outfit and the background. 4i didn't have a say on it. As to 5H, the production and wardrobe staff were also responsible for the look and was prefabricated. So what most think as their original look was definitely not theirs. So the credit or blame can only be attributed to the production and wardrobe guys. So haters, please direct your hate somewhere else, not on some unfounded and baseless claims.

I tried to repeat every single note of the song and I was so impressed with their vocals. That high note that Almira gave in! OMG ! That was so high and she incredibly sustained it. Just Wow! There were no back up singers standing by to cover up any flaws...👏👏

Why does X factor always do this put girl groups in bows and bloody tutus and shit they are not 5 year olds (they did it with 5th harmony and little mix).Then when the group wanna dress a bit sexy everyone judges them they probably didnt want to look too cutsey just style them for their age!!!!

the 2 remaining weeks of the 4th impact on Xfactor is blocked in some north america and canada, nice try for the xfactor admin to lessen the views and which is rising, it is stated in the popular articles and site that they are the only group who have made the audition video for 30 million views in 3 months for the record of xfactorUK eversince..
And i think they should fire/change the people who styled them & did their make-up. There are some technical issues too. Did they purposely did this to sabotage these girls?

This is the best vocal that they've had all season. I didn't like them at first because their harmonies and riffs were sloppy, but they really proved me wrong this week and I really enjoyed this performance. I'm pleasantly surprised how much I loved it. I do agree that they need some help with breath control, but they improved so much on their vocals that I didn't even care. Well done 4th Impact.

There's something freaky on the mic. Sometimes it don't emmit the right volume...it sound weak...I noticed it three times...then it's back to normal...hmmm...maybe a technical issue...they sing at the top of their lungs, hiting right all the high notes inspite of dancing...the vocals are really really great! And they dance so good! Total performers they are...the rap part is great too! Wow!
